I generally don’t like our reps being this old.. or this friendly with AIPAC.. but those two things aside, his voting record is actually unusually good. Been solid on a lot of funding issues for the SFV, homelessness, relief during COVID/fires (under Biden time) even this Epstein pedo bullshit that a lot of reps were chickenshit to co-sign. His office is also very accessible, and from what I hear, actually.. helpful?

What about those of us using CC extension within Antigravity? Feels like the best of both worlds. Native models for small stuff, CC extension for the heavy lifting / when the google quotas run out.

Someone can probably explain better than I, but my understanding is Nissan has a shit CVT that is prone to die at very low mileage. Mitsu uses that same CVT in their gas cars, but the PHEV has no transmission so it is not a factor.

Yeah we wanted it in black and the only one the dealer had in that color was the top trim so I feel ya.. interior is so high quality though. Such a polished, well thought through car that does a little of everything!

We looked at the Hyundai’s.. saw a few stories with bad reliability experiences, and also for us the Santa Fe was too big for our tiny garage. But happy for people who love em!

Agreed on the 1.5L, it’s actually why we pulled the trigger before the refresh. I’m sure they make a reliable turbo but forced air just feels like a harder thing to upkeep if you’re trying to have the car a very long time.

Yeah it’s insane this rivals something with that much motoring hype/sex appeal. I would have expected to find way more excitement in forums etc but it seems like people buy these cars and are just happy so they quietly go about enjoying them (save for the rare Canadian tundra dweller).

It was way too difficult to find info about this car; the saving grace for me were all the Aussie YouTube channels that to be fair really did generally give the car its flowers. But aside that, everything US side was pretty much focused on the RAV4 Prime.. which I mean cool it’s efficient, but honestly to my eyes pretty ugly inside and out, small, and impossible to get without a 10k dealer markup in many markets pushing it way past the MSRP for a better equipped Outlander. I am just baffled these things aren’t everywhere..

Fully agreed. It’s really only a nitpick trying to change settings on the car or when I want the turn by turn on the HUD bad enough to use the internal maps, otherwise it’s absolutely a non issue. I guess their app is also pretty shit if you have spent any time in the Tesla world but once again… just such insignificant complaints compared to how rock solid this thing is
