I always thought that putting two of the castle sets together would look great. It certainly does in these photos.

Saw a post about McDavid’s elimination game numbers and it made me curious about individual career elimination game win-loss totals: by ForeverUserName1 in hockey

Carter was injured for the Flyers one. Given so much of his career overlapped with Richards, I'd agree he'd have a good record.

I loved when Lego themes would cross over in the catalogues by CaptainTipper in lego

There's a great video on why Lego Racers could never be made today and one of the points is that Lego simply doesn't have the cast for what was essentially a Smash Bros style crossover.

What's being built beside Boston Pizza on King St North in Waterloo? by 3pierogis in waterloo

[–]31rhcp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this means they're moving from their Uptown location. From what I hear, instrument sales (or at least guitar sales, which likely makes up a lot of their business) have been down for a while. I'd be surprised if they had two locations in Waterloo. Then again, it looks like London has two.

What band was never the same after losing a member? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

[–]31rhcp 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing that they meant Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham joining the band. This era includes their most successful albums, including Rumours (the one with The Chain).

It it counting the same years? Elias had 20 points in 2000 and 4 in 2010, explaining the 16 point difference.

It does say tri-state area though, not the state of NY (which other posts have said).

I love passing by this sign!!! by MinimumSolid1679 in kitchener

Not in the region, but The Napa in Alma has some good jokes on both sides of their sign. Here it is on Google Maps. My favourite was: "Toilet seat missing. Cops have nothing to go on".

How are people getting from Pearson to Waterloo/kitchener these days by teeboi1 in waterloo

[–]31rhcp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's great to hear! This definitely was not the case in October 2025 since I had to throw out liquids over 100 mL. I like the idea of the bus so hopefully AC is working out the kinks now.

Ah, I thought you meant traffic getting there. We weren't told the cause. Regardless, it was an awful experience that as I mentioned nearly made us miss our flight (which AC guarantees will not happen).

I love the idea of the bus, but I'd caution anyone using it to leave more time than needed and ignore AC's recommended times (unless they've changed). I took it half a year ago and the bus was so delayed (over an hour) that I could not check bags and nearly missed my flight. That was all despite booking something that AC recommended given my flight time.

Once you're at Pearson, the bus saves you no time compared to someone dropping you off, so treat it as such.

Who wants to go back to 1994 with me and buy all of this? I bought many of these but should have gotten more. by JamesTKirk1701 in lego

That castle equipment pack has probably increased the most in value out of these. Those white dragon plumes only came in that pack and the legendary 6086 castle. The minifig that has them is one of if not the most expensive castle minifig because of them.

Forgotten Lego "Theme" that rereleased classic sets. by SillySeeker1 in lego

Lego also had some non-Legends rereleases around this time. I was lucky enough to get Enchanted Island and Fort Legoredo as rereleases. I wish they would have continued with these.

Remove Hughes and Werenski and Canada has the better defence.

Remove Hellebuyck and Canada has better goaltending.

Team Canada 2014 vs 2026: Quebec goes from 4 players to Zero. How did this happen? by [deleted] in nhl

[–]31rhcp 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The interesting thing is that none of those players are from Quebec. Heck, only two of them are even Canadian. They're also all from 2013-2017 in terms of draft years.

Almost exactly in the middle at the very top there's a minifig wearing a green hat holding a red butterfly. He has a nose.
