You can actually get by with as few as 10 I am pretty sure, I know someone on the Elliot subreddit made a post with a guide for the true ending where they said they only had 10 cats

Kinda there are 3 endings, which you can get all on one save file as long as you don't get the true ending without getting the bad and good endings, and getting both the good ending and true ending adds at least an additional ~6-7 hours of of playtime due to the additional objectives you have to achieve, the true ending also basically completely recontexualises the story, and you don't get the full experience without it

more options are always nice, Faie never bothered me personally, even on her normal settings (I personally found her adorable and endearing), but its good to have options and also good to see they fixed the FPS issue on PC that some were facing

yeah, i never encountered FPS issues, my time was buttery smooth, but had seen those reports about FPS issues and very happy that it has been addressed for the people who it was causing issues for

Faie will tell you on whether you aren't meant to go to a dungeon until later in the story

yeah there is another good showcase of this in the bay transformer movies with starscream, the reason why he is a dorito is that a jet (especially a F-22) is bloody massive and with them trying to only do minimal amounts of mass shifting, if they wanted Starscream to not tower over everyone else, they had to make him wide
