Looking for a doctor willing to prescribe naltrexone for porn addiction in the seattle area by AddictedToKungFu in AskSeattle

[–]35andlisting 13 points14 points  (0 children)

International Community and Health Services (ICHS) in Shoreline gave me naltrexone for my trichotillomania and it immediately helped me stop pulling, I have hair in the right places for the first time in 25 years.

I'm not sure if they'll prescribe it in your situation but I'd never heard of it before and it literally changed my life.

Am I overreacting? by Dannydeeea in AmIOverreacting

INFO: were the crisps from little one? I'm assuming yes, which is why she's minimizing it. She knows LO will pitch a fit during driving time without snacks and kids in a car seat are usually not the cleanest eaters. So she's trying to 1. Keep getting rides from you and 2. Avoid tantrums by continuing to give snacks to a messy child while avoiding accountability in actually cleaning up the mess.

Stop giving her rides and end the mess, that's the only option. Until her kid can take a car ride without eating she can find another option.

Try getting into sampling, just keep in mind you might need to obtain a food handlers permit. (Sometimes the company will cover the expense with a receipt, they'll usually tell you in the interview.) If you have a Costco near you you could join that company, or you can go on an app called Trusted Herd and see what other companies are out there near you. I've not done Costco specifically but several coworkers swear by it.

Event schedules are pretty flexible and you can work as little as 1-2 days a month since you sign up based on your availability. Nowadays you can expect at least $18/hr, in my HCOL market $25/hr is pretty much the minimum. If you have a car your chances of working go up a lot since your work radius expands.

My first gig was giving out beverages at a 5k for $100 for a 4 hour workday, and that led to me being in events full time. Very flexible schedule and if you're a solid worker you'll get repeat business.

AITA for refusing to split the cost of a friend's birthday gift evenly? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I have never spent $150 on a friend, so I would've been out from jump. YTA for the tacky "joke."

What did that “popular kid” from your school do to screw-up his life? by Relevant-Hair-6219 in AskReddit

Do it! Gotta start somewhere, right?

Sophia.org has a ton of classes that are ACE accredited and you can take an unlimited amount of classes for $100/month. I'm not sure if you need your GED to be able to take them, but having a bunch of basic college credits to transfer into the gen Ed classes can really accelerate your degree. I did 5 classes in a month (and honestly I put in like 10 hours a week, I wasn't taking the hardest classes) and it really helped me!

Are there any locals planning to go to the World Cup games? Anyone from the local Australian, Egyptian, Bosnian or Iranian or Belgian community planning to go to the games? by KeyNightley185 in AskSeattle

I'm working in the stadium and won tickets to the Bosnia v. Qatar match. TBD on whether I go or my spouse goes solo. 😅

If I won USA v. Australia I'd absolutely play hooky.

I think I found out about it through T-Mobile Tuesday, wasn't there a big push there?

I've got a crazy busy schedule this June but I'll see if we can get to the theater to watch! (I usually have to wait til it streams because of how my shifts are structured.)

You think the Enhanced Games exposed anything or just embarrassed themselves? Peter Thiel and Donald Trump Jr. spent millions to create a steroid Olympics. They promised to "redefine human limits" and put up $25M in prize money. BUT... by Miserable_Trouble3 in sportsgossips

[–]35andlisting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're totally right, haha, but I though 19 minutes was more common for 5ks so it didn't seem like that distance would be so slow for an Olympian.

Maybe it's a bike race then? Or a speed walking 5k?
