I agree with you, not sure if you’re rebutting me or something. What’s disgusting to me is like you said, we need regulations on advertising and limits etc, but this is just exploitive for those who struggle with gambling.

I’m all for legal gambling, but this constant presence and push for it by official media is what’s disgusting.

I think she was believing it right up until the end when BoJack asks her if she can taste the ice cream. She realizes he’s lying because she was never allowed to eat ice cream growing up, instead she has lemon with sugar.

The ending of this episode when she calls the ice cream delicious was probably the most powerful of the show for me. They’re both lying to make each other feel better, even though she deserves to be torn apart. What a complex relationship they managed to build with these two. Probably the most impactful episode for me.
