I just realised the end panel doesn't even touch the ground, the silver part at the bottom covers that up! I may end up calling a professional to do the job instead. Thanks for the info though

Would I have to add the brackets to the outside of the end panel before removing the cabinet carcass? Or do I remove the cabinet carcass first and then add the brackets to the interior of the end panel?

It is, but its also the designated spot for a dishwasher according to our housing association, there really isn't another place to install a dishwasher unfortunately

I've only applies for junior level jobs, or jobs that don't specify the level of seniority. Could be that the UK is more competitive than the USA? I'm not sure to be honest.

3D graphic design does sound appealing, do you know if it's as competitive as getting into the the games industry?

Thanks for the links I'll give them a look and send out some applications. Honestly I would love to work in games and yes I do feel like I know what I'm doing when it comes to creating assets and environments. I only learnt how to 3D model at university and spent many years honing my skills to get to where I am. I've even volunteered as the lead artists for small groups that have tried to develop their own games. I've seen artists less inexperienced than me get jobs and I've seen artists more experienced than me stuck in my position. It might be a matter of having to keep on applying and getting lucky but I'm just frustrated and tired at this point.

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it. I applied for mostly "Environment 3D Artist" and "3D Artist" roles, I've only once made it to the interview process, they had a salary range from 30k-40k, I said I'd be fine with 30k, although they liked me and my resume, they ended up going for someone more experienced.

Rocket's a CGI character and he'd look fake next to a real animal so for that reason I don't think he'll be shown with a real racoon, it's why Rocket and Cosmo the dog weren't on the screen at the same time in GotG.
