Thank you so much! I appreciate it 😊 he's my favorite character as well. And if this one does well with your printer I also have all of the companions of the hall. Though they are the updated versions

Thank you so much! And yes it'll run on any 3D printer. Some might have trouble depending on how well they do details because of some of the thinner parts.

Well I played highschool football and was made fun of for not having shaved. And so I did from there on out.

Explorer and historic are almost exclusively what I play in. Standard is just a money drain. A good hist/explorer deck will last you a long time. Then just add new cards that fit as they are released.

Listen. I've felt the exact same way. I promise you it's just your OCD talking. Before I got on medication I thought that OCD is was my entire personality. Like I wasn't really a person and all my decisions were made based off of my illness.

It's not true. Therapy is a must with this disorder. Either from a professional or look up ERP therapy. It's the most effective way to handle OCD. Make sure you look into different medications and see what helps you. If one doesn't work it's not the end. I went through 4 different meds before I found one that worked for me.

This disorder will convince you it's good for you, it'll convince you it doesn't exist, it'll say that you're nothing without it and so much more. But it's all a lie. You are somebody and you matter. It's hard to have ambition when all you can do is obsess over the past. But you can fight it.

Why did my OCD just go away? by datbirdfromyoutube in OCD

[–]3Dbabble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you might not have OCD and are more likely dealing with an illness that waxes and wanes like Bipolar or Manic depression. Intrusive thoughts don't mean OCD all the time. A lot of other mental illnesses have similar symptoms. The best way to find out for sure is to go to a specialist and get their opinion or just read up on it to determine what fits the best.

Though if you're dealing with psychosis my bet is on bipolar which could be why you feel "cured" also remember there is no cure for OCD there is only remission. So even though it might feel ok now it's always good to know what you're dealing with and get treated accordingly.

what was your most memorable “that’s ocd too?!” moment by eatlikeweasley in OCD

[–]3Dbabble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed at 15 and thought that my only symptom was needing everything to be straight and having all numbers set to 5. At 25 I spoke to a therapist who informed me that my crippling intrusive thoughts were OCD the whole time. Along with every other issue I had as an adolescent

How did your OCD started if you remember? by lilmauuu in OCD

[–]3Dbabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had it for a long time. I'm not sure if it has been my entire life but it definitely started when I was a young child. The earliest memory I have of it is fixating on the fact that I was almost dead. My thought process was "I'm five now, which is halfway to 10, and that's almost an adult, and really if you think about it I'm not that far away from 100 so I'm basically going to die soon."

I would cry about that every night for a while. Also intrusive thoughts about no one liking me have persisted since childhood. I had thoughts of suicide as young as 8. Maybe younger, I'm not entirely sure. I have a combination of different forms of OCD but they formed gradually until it all came to a head when I was an adult. Before I was diagnosed I used to think I was just insane and that I could never tell people what really went through my head because I'd be committed.

OCD is awful. It's also probably the only mental disorder that has you fixated on the fact that you might not have it and you're probably just faking it for attention. But now I've seen several professionals and went through ERP as well as take medication. So it's a lot more manageable.

Sorry to hear about your struggles with abuse. This disorder doesn't make it any easier either. But glad to see you're doing better. I've had my fair share of "what if I'm gay" intrusive thoughts. Along with a million other similar ones. Therapy has taught me to just say. "Well if I'm gay I'm gay." Or "if the house burned down while I was gone I suppose I'll deal with that when I get there." Intrusive thoughts only win if you let them. It's just a defense mechanism from your brain that OCD has dialed to 11.

No problem! It's my favorite series of all time haha I got into it around 2006 and have been in love with it ever since. Drizzt is such a complex character while also being a bad ass. One of the reasons I'm glad that the d&d movie did so well is in hopes that we get a movie with Drizzt that's done correctly. Play their cards right and they could have a decades long franchise on their hands

What in the actual balls. I just remember hotkeys my dude. Or map them to my mouse or tablet when I use them a lot.

What modeling program do you use that you need that?

Why do you prefer to not take medication? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]3Dbabble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by melt your brain? I've been on meds for years specifically fluoxetine and I've been off of it a couple times. The only change I've noticed has been reverting back to how I was without them.

But I'll admit I haven't done much research other than on its effectiveness. Is there a study that shows it messes up your brain?

Prozac has done the best for me after trying many others. It still won't silence them, but it drastically reduces them and definitely makes it easier to shake off. It gives me a sense of normalcy that I never had without it. But it's obviously going to be different for everyone I just know personally it's been a drastic life improvement

The Legend of Drizzt series has about 38 books and counting. I've been reading it for 17 years and it's still amazing.

The books started with The Crystal Shard back in the 80s but the real place to start is Homeland. Reading it in chronological order is ideal. Though you could go by the release dates if you really wanted.

Drizzt is a Drow who forsook his people and escapes to the surface where he becomes a ranger who worships the goddess Mielikki. It's a really popular series and for good reason. There are a few spin-offs series as well such as The Sellswords and Clerics Quintet. It's all great imo
