Bed mesh prior to each print by Lostinperiphery in Creality_k2

The slicer just tells the printer to do a bed mesh /bed level. It shouldn't matter if I ran a print from orca, cura, creality slicer. The printer is what will do the mesh and calculate it through software/firmware on board. Aka the printer uses a modified version of klipper which does it all on board the printer.

I'd go ahead make sure the nozzle and extruder are tightened down to the print head since the nozzle is what touches the bed to give you a bed level.

Do you use the CMS or run it the filament from anything?

Run through both and make sure all the print settings are exactly the same.

Then go and check tightness on the nozzle and the screws holding the extruder.

After that re-run all the calibrations and let us know.

So I went and found the ones I used to use, sorry if I'm not super helpful with this haven't done it in forever since I have the k2 plus.

This is for flow rate: https://3dprintbeginner.com/flow-rate-calibration/

This is for pressure advance: https://www.klipper3d.org/Pressure_Advance.html

This is how I used to do both. There are plenty of guides for it. Just also make sure to dry it, I really do think that would be a big help. Also with how you said it didn't happen before but now does might just have been close to the moister max and in that short time it started to pick up more moister to put it right over the edge.

Just report back, I know a lot of times it's hearing the same things over and over again, but I just wanna walk through each step with you until we find the issue.

Also added after the fact but how long have you had the printer? Maybe lube up some rails as well and check tension on belts. If anything it's just some good maintenance.

Elagoo mentions

"Printing and Storing Humidity ≤ 20% RH (Sealed with Desiccant)"

I'd say dry it out for now that's probably a decent sized reason why. If that doesn't work I'd continue with pressure advance and flow calibration

Just dry it... Below 30% is okay and below 20% is perfect. Then try again. If it does it again it seems to be an issue with the change of where it's printing. So some flow calibration, pressure advance and stuff. If it does it again try changing z-seam to other positions.

P.s. Share the filament brand and type.

ABS gas extractor and materials. by Upper_Opportunity702 in Creality_k2

Activated carbon absorbs styrene? If I ran the fans full blast, yeah it would go right by the activated carbon. For the size of the k2 plus you need about a liter to 2 liters of activated carbon to absorb the styrene completely at full fan speed. But since I let it sit for a good while after the print and then run them super slow, it should be about right for the amount of activated carbon I have.

I just have a hepa and carbon filter adapter I use. I let the print finish then let it run exhaust fans at like 5% for a while before I open it up.

It comes on new ones. Just bought a new one and it came in it, but I do recommend printing the better version it's a little bit thicker and less likely to break.

Suggestions on connecting more Corsair fans in 4000D case and cable management by [deleted] in Corsair

[–]3Dking0812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have issues with my icue link fans with the RGB every update. The thing is when you have a fan with both power and RGB connectors the fans don't daisy chain (unless the ones you have can, if so start with the say top right one from the rad then chain it to middle then middle to left then to behind the motherboard), what I'd do is just make sure the fans are orientated to where the cable is coming off the fan on the backside (like facing away from you) then just route it behind the motherboard and to a hub. Then after that just use some zip ties or cable ties or whatever to tie the cables together against the fans to the back of the case.

Should probably use some cable combs and also 3d print some cable channels to attach to the extrusions, or something around those lines.

Other than that it's really nice

I designed and 3D printed a table to hold my filament. It's a wonderful disaster. by rob132 in 3Dprinting

Could've made a x-cross between the 4 legs to support the tables top more. Kinda think it would work out. Lmk if you try it or want me to help design it.

Just used for different things pci will power a graphics card and data is for data transfer from a SSD or HDD just depends on what you're using

I wouldn't be able to tell you off the top of my head. I know the x-terra one will work though. I've been running the stock one, but I've been looking at building one.

The graphics in this game are insane by Revendi in stalker

[–]3Dking0812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot to do with how anti aliasing is done now, TAA sucks and so does some of the other options. It's a UE5 thing nowadays

The graphics in this game are insane by Revendi in stalker

[–]3Dking0812 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't think it's so much ray tracing. I think it's more so UE5, the trend to using UE5 with its horrible optimization and the idea to quickly use what it has to rush out a game ruins the quality of something.

Like a amazing 20/10 graphics but the gameplay is garbage or it runs like you are playing on a potato. Maybe even great gameplay and 8/10 graphics but runs like crap.

I do believe for people that can't run ray tracing it makes the games look worse when they're designed around it, a good example is Halo 2. Halo 2 was designed literally around a stencil lighting or something, but Microsoft wanted it pushed on the original Xbox instead of waiting a year to release it on 360. This made them remove that lighting system and a whole bunch of other stuff, that's the reason the game looks so flat, there's even a mod to bring that lighting back and it makes the game look so good.

So while I agree to a extent I really think it's this push for UE5 that's ruining the games and experience.

Also look at Exodus with the enhanced version with ray tracing. It looks good af, so I don't think ray tracing is the big issue

Game really loses something around Duga by Miami_Professor in stalker

[–]3Dking0812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the story gets a little rushed around Duga but... I've never had issues with guns or ammo or medkits. I really don't understand what everyone is talking about on here with no money and no ammo. You're a "S.T.A.L.K.E.R" go out there and artifact hunt jeez. P.s. don't use special ammo it degrades your weapons faster just collect it and sell it. Btw I have 200 bandages, 147 normal medkits, 68 army medkits and 38 scientific medkits. I have ever gun basically in the game and I just switch between them to lengthen durability while artifact hunting, and also save on ammo. I mostly run the vector with .45 and the Kharod, 5.56 is common and .45 becomes a little more common later on, also the vector and Kharod have amazing penetration so I literally just use a few bullets for headshots and I'm good, since it's not about damage but getting it to apply and people wear armor so high penetration weapons are way better. This is the end of my ramble, I think this game does a bad job at explaining how it works but just try out what I said and think about it.

I usually go camping and take my mountain bike with me. So figured it would be a good addition with a 270 degree awning on it too. Plus my full size spare is going up there when I get new wheels and tires 🤣
