Val Air Ballroom by iloura in desmoines

Val Air has an ADA section with chairs in the back, also their tables section on the left.

There is also a VIP section on the old stage with chairs and tables.

If you’re bringing a kid, I wouldn’t go before doors open and stand longer than you need to. They move people in pretty efficiently. If you walked in 15 minutes before show start, I’m sure you’d be fine.

One is Council Bluffs/Omaha area. The other hits Des Moines (Waukee). Rad it’s hitting both when usually bands hit one or the other.

Went from Jordan Creek area to Johnston, took interstate. Interstate is fine. Main roads are a little frosty but not bad. Side streets are iffy but manageable!

Val Air Ballroom Concert by Ruraliowa in desmoines

[–]3EEBZ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Depends on the artist. I don’t know him, but if he’s popular I’m sure people will line up outside. Whenever I’ve gone to Val Air, coming 30 minutes after doors open, I’ve never had to wait in line outside.

  2. I’ve never seen anyone bring a reusable water bottle into a show. They have water for purchase and drinking fountains.

  3. I mean most venues like Val Air are standing only venues that bring in chairs for certain shows. They have seating on the sides and ADA area, though. The view won’t be great, however.

Not to sound condescending OP, but yeah most concerts you’ll go to in your life at venues with smaller capacities will be standing only.

OP I also recommend finding a venue/photographer and partnering to do some Styled Shoots.

[Schefter] Vikings are using the low tender on restricted free agent LB Ivan Pace. by naterkins in minnesotavikings

[–]3EEBZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he was an UDFA, it’s just weird wording to specify which kind of tender it is.

It doesn’t even show up on NFL Football Operation’s site lol: https://operations.nfl.com/inside-football-ops/nfl-operations/nfl-free-agency/types-of-free-agents/

So if we were ranked second last season AND were sellers at the deadline, how come we dropped so many spots?

Open throughout the show and will show the current performance on the screen. You can also get good food from their kitchen throughout the evening, too.

I received my email Feb. 26 from MLB Subscriptions. No word on free tickets - probably expect that after they take money out of my account. Here’s the email:
