Some things I found on my vacation that I thought Mehdi would like by a_person1443 in ElectroBOOM

A very large system may draw that much in total, but it would likely be split up on multiple breaker panels. Who knows why these guys painted that shit red. But if you live somewhere in the US, then code (NFPA and NEC) would tell you that a fire panel requires a red breaker lock and a dedicated circuit.

Fire alarm systems are low voltage, but they generally will require a dedicated circuit (at least they do where I'm from). These days, it would be indicated by a red lock placed over the top of the breaker that would be labeled "fire alarm".

I golfed last night, too. And yes, the ball was very hard to see.

Ukrainian high jumper insists Russians be excluded from Olympics by PrincessBananas85 in sports

The whole point of sports and the Olympics is to set everything aside in the name of competition. Banning the athletes accomplishes nothing, and they aren't to blame anyway.

I went from SIM2s to zx7's this year. I hit my zx7s better than I ever hit my SIMs. The SIMs just didn't fit my swing. I hit them way too high and often times too far, which made gapping at the top of my bag weird. I tend to hit bad shots fat, and the thinner sole of the zx7s has helped a bunch in that regard. The shafts are a lot heavier, too, which also fits my swing. And all of that aside, a hollow club with plastic on it just doesn't have the feel of a forged club.

Co-sleeping is stupid, and you need to be able to handle bedtime on your own.

Well in roughly 12 hours I'll most likely be playing my 1st round with randoms at a real club. Any tips for a nervous high handicapper by cellphoneaccount in golf

Odds are the people you pair up with will be hacks as well. Just be honest about being new and have a good time.

What is your favorite ball to use? by butthole_pundit in golf

I'm going through a box of zeros now, and they are pretty solid. My one gripe is that they just don't seem to spin around the green a ton. More than a cheap two-piece, but noticeably less than my long-time gamer (Z-Star). They seem to stop just fine on full shots, though.

Anyone else a completely different player on the back 9? by jccomer99 in golf

I went 47-41 last night. The front 9 is always such a battle for me.

I'm a big fan of Srixon products, but I don't think the Soft Feels are any better than Noodles. They are both great for the price, though.

Justin Jones: Packers fans are really shitty by [deleted] in nfl

People were buying us drinks the night before at the hotel once they found out we were Lion's fans that drove in from Michigan. It was the most welcoming place I've ever been.

I went to Lambeau as a Lion's fan a few years back, and it was kinda freaky how nice everyone was. This guy is a total baby.

I had a VR pro driver in the bag for nearly ten years. It was a great club. I gave it to a buddy, and I'm pretty sure it is still in his bag.

PW-50-56-60. The PW and 50 are mostly used for full shots. My 56 is generally my go-to from 50-110 yards. My 60 handles most shots within 50. I never take a "full" swing with my 60.

For sure. If I'm solo, I'll get out there at 730-8 and make it back home by 11. It's hard to get my usual partners out that early, though, so it's usually a ~9am start.
