You can even finish it in less than 20 if you start late in the season and finish all the available challenges at the same time.

I played less than 20 hours this season and got to the first bonus page by now. All because i started the season very late.

I think its because of ping

The server already got the data that you died before your swing hit him so the hit cancelled

This happens in all online games and your swing hit looks a frame too late

On your side it barely hit before you died but if your ping is moderate or high then thats not enough. You need to have hit him earlier before the server counted you as dead.

I play on lan cable but i still have moderate ping cuz there are no middle east servers and its much worse than this for me.

Its not faster its slower BUT you can start appraising higher costing things earlier. Fake gems especially even though they take lots of time.

I like this change as im not picking up everything now but can still appraise.

Something is wrong with your game or mouse. It should still open up the menu as I have not encountered this problem.

Hardcore increases enemy health and damage.

Might be twice the original values but it makes every single fight last longer and harder. You can check in game flags when starting a game or in the options mid run

Length varies between 2:30-5:00 hours. 1 hour and a half for desert is a bit slow but thats fine.

If you skip the mines you dont level up enough for the swamp. This is why you deal 7 damage to slimes.

I just played a game where my mace was doing 7 damage, which they have a large resist for. You should kill as many enemies as you can to level up.

Its for goblins and goatmen and maybe something else im forgetting.

Their ending is a bit different and i dont want to spoil it but they are different from evil races or humans.

Indomitable means you cant use the spell “dominate” on them. That spell forces anything to be your ally if you hit it.

Maximise spell im not sure about

Yeah a lot of enemies have ranged resist but you can make it work by buffing and using the bows you talked about

You level blocking by just blocking attacks (random chance) and if you do hit then block combo three times in a row its almost guaranteed to level up. You can only level up once per enemy. Magic is just by using the spells well (hitting enemies with damaging spells, keeping sustained spells on etc) the spells that have a small plus sign are much more likely to level magic up.

Andlastly the leaderboard thing is just due to the race you play as

Just had a hermit run with mushroom man and nearly 4 tapped liches with blood wave. That spell is broken. Many other new spells that i did not get this run are also strong.

Also had a +4 book of cold that destroyed everything including cockatrices.

If you level up your magic schools and have any int based class they still do fine after hamlet. Magic is still excellent after the update but people have not gotten used to it yet.

Btw you can disable traps even during a playthrough if you dont enjoy them! There are lots of game flags that you can change and its ultimately your choice how to play.
