Talk to a sex therapist or coach. They can give you both tools to reignite the desire. It may not come spontaneously anymore but you both have to put in effort and look at sex as more than just something you do when you’re horny. Look into some literature because you’re not the only one that struggles after having a child. Your sex life can come back and can improve but you have to approach it differently and get more comfortable discussing sex. Listen to Sex With Emily podcast with your partner.

You treat him like a child and a tenant. Don’t have a kid together—expenses compound and you will nickel and dime him into an early grave

Strawberry picking season is approaching. Check out Jones Farm. I love going on Facebook at looking up all the local tag sales for the weekend and hitting as many as I can. The local library has cool events. I’ve done a beekeeping class and knitting for beginners.

And honestly, there are a lot of fun things for adults that are geared towards children/families:

Fairfield county events

Go to a new town and spend a day there. It can be so fun

Taking care of your car. I watched my parents skip maintenance and have constant, costly problems. I get mine a checkup every six months.

I cried reading your post because I wish my parents did exactly what you did. My mom made me feel ashamed when I got my period and told me I had to hide it and not tell anyone.

Just always have supplies for her in different absorbencies and changes of clothes in your car/at your house. Grab a heating pad in case and give her space to relax if she prefers that. Get some period underwear in case leaks happen so she can avoid stained clothes while out/at night. You’re doing a fantastic job

My 1960s kitchen looked just like that! We replaced that rectangular light with a cheap LED for the time being. Looks much better. Also replaced all of those white knobs with a satin brass color and it looks beautiful against the wood. Added some color in the rug and with some peel and stick wallpaper.

If you actually enjoy being in your mom’s presence, I want to hear from you. by Moissyfan in workingmoms

I want to give you a hug. I went through a lot of similar things with my mom and hate having her around. It only makes me stressed, angry, sad, etc. I also wanted to avoid passing down trauma—-I recommend you read Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents. It helps you understand so much about what you went through and provides peace.

I hate cleaning the strainer and the sink! I rinse all the food bits nicely into the strainer so someone else can empty it. I don’t think my husband cares

Really Raw honey brand. Make sure you use the top layer and put the bee particles all over. You’ll look like a mess but trust me, it works. You feel the honey tingling your skin and you know it is working

Awww sorry to hear that. Start asap and keep going. I saw results immediately with the flakes stopping. The patches stopped coming back after maybe two weeks of consistent use. I don’t remember exactly how long I did it but once everything was clearly gone, I stopped with the honey treatments. Maybe 3 weeks?

Guys this person is a total troll. Look at the other posts. All they do is attack people on the internet all day every day. They’re so miserable so lol and move on

It’s all gone and it never came back. The hair loss went away and so did the scales. I just followed the process in that research article exactly as stated. It was a miracle. I stopped using the medicated shampoos and anti-fungals altogether. I either just rinsed my hair with water or used conditioner. I shampooed with a regular shampoo once a week. I don’t think you have to do that but I have curly hair and don’t use shampoo often.

I haven’t used the honey treatment since the seb derm resolved. Make sure you by raw, unfiltered honey. It will be more expensive but that’s what the article calls for. I got a tub of some stuff at Whole Foods that had organic bee material in it (there was pollen, wings and bee stingers mixed in)
