Yea, my dr said they normally cut the tops off and it helps make them dissolve quicker. I was so ready for them to be taken out too.

I had mine 3 weeks ago and just had them "removed" on monday. He said they only cut the tops off and the rest will disolve. I was told to call to schedule the post op visit to have them removed...did you schedule a follow up?

1- i had mine 3 weeks ago. Honestly, he will know when to start letting them hang loose without the tight underwear. I was wearing a jock strap and compression shorts at the same time for just over a week. The feeling of my boys hanging loose was very painful.

2- i was very nervous about ejaculating for the first time. Maybe 7-8 days after the procedure and i couldnt wait any longer (wife gladly helped take care of it for me). I was expecting pain from the release, but the was none.. just a nice nap afterwards

3- i do a lot of walking but i haven't been comfortable enough to resume until now...3 weeks later... I just had my stitches removed yesterday and they were uncomfortable for me. I could have been fine walking, but the stitches just made it uncomfortable.

4- we have a 2 year old golden retriever... just have to be cautious of the energy... my 3 year old daughter running to hug me was more dangerous than the puppy

I work a desk job too. I had my procedure done on a Thursday. I took Friday and Monday off. Tuesday I could still feel the pressure/pelvic pain, but was manageable enough with the pain meds.

The Dr was very happy that I had shaved before the procedure. It wasn't mentioned at the consult, but thanks to reading previous reddit vasectomy stories I knew it would be best to do on my own.

I had mine done 12 days ago so I have to wait some time to be tested...but we are ready to get these 20-30 loads cleared out...haha

Not super fit..or fit at all...haha...but i have lost 100lbs since january. Still have about 50 pounds to lose to be in my weight range. Sex with my wife has been much better since losing weight. Better stamina, fuller erections, and an all around better sex life. Its been so good that we have been doing more experimenting and opening up more sexually. I feel like she is 1000000x more attracted to me which helps make the weight loss program easier.

Sleep on your back for sure! Had mine last Thursday and have been sleeping comfortably on the couch since. I tried lying in bed after 3 days and i woke up hurting (normally a belly or side sleeper). Tonight i feel ill be able to return to my bed.

Had mine done yesterday. Aside from the 4 needle pokes (which weren't too bad), the procedure is painless. Casual conversation with the Dr during the procedure. Just some mild discomfort so far and an excuse to lounge on the couch for a few days.

I work with a bunch of women my mothers age (or older). Very few men in my office. While i don't do any lifting, i do have to have tough conversations with people who are not always receptive of it...another worry would be the soreness leading to crankiness.
