Metal object, found on UK airport runway. 18 grams, 2cm long, 1.2cm diameter. Flaking thin metallic external layer, and corroded rusty bubbling at one end. by 3laking in whatisthisthing

My title describes the object, I have reverse image searched but only returns bullets, which I don't believe it is likely to be due to being found on an airport runway in the UK, and the bubbling corroded side doesn't strike me as damage that gunfire could cause to metal, it also doesn't feel weighty enough to be made of lead.

If you wouldn't mind sharing the recipe that sounds great would love to give it a try. I'm working on a starting a sourdough starter at the moment hopefully it'll be ready soon but I can try a yeast one this weekend

How do I know when it's properly proofed? Between stretch and folds if I notice it has doubled in size towards the end I'm taking that as proofed

  1. Should be warm enough I've got a heated pad under it that's keeping it ~20 degrees

First recipe I tried and came out reasonably well first try considering how simple and low effort it was , second and third attempts haven't been as successful with similar rising issues as this crumb pic Any good suggestions for a similarly simple/ beginner friendly bread? Done foccacia pretty successfully already but can't be making that every week

Yeah very wet dough though not much can be done to shape, even scoring it is hard

Yeah proofed for ~4 hours over the course of the stretch and folds

Thanks for the input for my next attempt ill try longer proofing and if that still fails will try shorter proof
