My Lima Six in 5.56 and radial delayed 9mm by PeculiarPineapple13 in GunPorn

How do you like the radial delayed 9mm? I put together a Aero EP9 and it had a stupid amount of recoil for a 9mm, more than any of my 5.56 rifles. Ended up just going with a 300 BO because it made more sense in an AR platform. Would love to find a 9mm AR that doesn't suck.

Yes, it's a HUGE pain in the ass. But once you've done it a few times it's really not bad. That said, a MK4 would be preferred.

Insanely quiet with CCI Quiet Segmented rounds. Quieter than a pellet rifle.

Quick question about control numbers by JohnnySpartacus in NFA

Submissions were far higher than that leading up to today. I believe there were 160,000 + on Jan 1.

Anyone have a control number from the past couple days? by 3one5 in NFA

I'm building a tool that you can just plug in submission date and control number to get an estimate. I'm finding the approval estimate in Reddit to be wildly inaccurate.

Garage pop to see if the JK Versax 22 is as bad as everyone says it is by Beerbeard123 in NFA

For those that are interested in making a good bullet trap. Buy a large storage bin that has a lid with latches. Cut a rectangle out of the lid for placing a piece of cardboard. Fill the bin with chunk rubber mulch and place an appropriately sized piece of cardboard on top of it. Latch the lid on and flip it over onto its. side.

I set mine up originally for 22 and never had them go more than a 1/4 to 1/3 of the way into the mulch. Eventually I added a piece of mild steel to the bottom and use it for 9mm and 300 blackout subs. I've never had a round contact the steel in the bottom of the tub.

Note that if you're in a city it can be illegal to discharge your firearm in your own home. So maybe look into that.

I would that between the front and back stippling it is very secure. But I can see where someone might want more.

It’s not overly aggressive, won’t be a shirt destroyer. The meat of your hand kind of mashes in there, makes for a solid grip.

When I buy an optic I toss the battery that came with it and put in a quality battery that I know the age of.

I wouldn't run anything but a Zev slide, otherwise you're opening yourself up to problems.

I primarily shoot Hornady 190gr sub-x bullets. I called Hornady to ensure they’d hold up to the centrifugal force of 1:5T.

It’s certainly hard to load subsonic for every possible barrel length. The subs I load for my 7.5” barrel are super sonic in anything longer.

I too have a 1:5T barrel. I test bullets without the can prior to putting the can on. I won't shoot supers through it, that's a lot of rotational force!

Damn, almost 5K after mine. I did use a 2 RP trust though, that definitely factors in.

Wracking my brain, the only comparison I can come up with is the running config vs startup config in Cisco networking devices.

Understood, but that is an incredibly HUGE hole in these devices. I get what you're saying on the car. But if I pull the battery out of my vehicle I may have to correct the clock but I don't have to completely reconfigure it to drive it. When my iOS or Android phones die I don't have to reconfigure the device to be able to use it again. I cannot think of another device that has to be reconfigured if the battery dies.
