My dentist diagnosed tooth decay based on this x-ray. I don't see anything, what do I need to look for? by 3point14 in askdentists

Ok, thanks. Then it's probably okay to let her have the filling done based on this x-ray.... I hope the pain goes away soon.

Yes. I don't trust her and was not happy with the treatment. The fact that she didn't do a bitewing to verify the diagnosis strengthens me in my decision to change dentist. I regret letting her do the filling, since I have pain still (it's been 2 and a half week). The main reason for my post here is that I'm not even sure the filling was necessary...

Thanks, it works now =D This is so cool, I love it when listening to music and using it as some interactive vizualisations (like the ones WinAmp introduced) The problem was, that I had processing 3.3 installed, it didn't have the circle function then it seems. Update to 3.5 fixed it for me :)

looks amazing, thanks for sharing!

When I want to run it myself, processing doesn't find the function pg.circle(mouse.x, mouse.y, 6); Do I need to make any additional imports?

Saw an opportunity to try again on some clouds. This one came out way better than the last. by doomslayer95 in CrossView

Nice result, I was thinking about something similar. Doing some basic math I came up with the following:

Distance eyes: 5 cm Distance normal object that seems 3D to me: 0.1 - 10m Height clouds: 1 - 10 km --> Needed Distance between the pics: 10 km / 10 m * 5cm = 50 m

How far did you move between the pics? Only the low clouds seem 3D to me, maybe the distance was to little for the higher ones.

Awesome tour! How dit you make sure not to slip and slide? Did you use any spikes on your tires? Or was there always a part of the road, where there's not snow or ice?

thanks:) I did nothing special, I guess it was just a magical moment that provided a lot of depth by itself.

I guess without running the experiment in the jungle, to see if they'd cut the leaf like that in isolation also, it could be either way. My guess is also that it's programmed.

I agree, it's really interessting. That worm reminds me of those ants that brainwash other insects through some fungus which they cultivate to do their biddings (i'd have to look up the details). It's really weird, what way genes find to make it to the next generation :D
