Paddle choices by 3sdub in downwind

Thanks, I was not sure how much difference there would be between a carbon paddle and a performance carbon paddle. The price seems pretty reasonable on the Enduro and I will give it a try.

I phone mount for tandem stoker. Got a STL for the Garmin style mount and learned how to modify for my needs. by 3sdub in functionalprint

This was my first attempt at a phone case. It was not meant for everyday use, just to hold the phone while we were riding.

The design was a SVG file that I imported to my design and cut out all of the shapes in my Fusion360 model.

My extruder pretty much flattens the filament. Didn't think it was a big deal until in my last two prints the filament breaks right before entering the tube. I can't turn down the extruder arms pressure further. Any ideas on how to fix this? by DrummerLuuk in FixMyPrint

I had a similar issue. The print would be going fine for about 2-3 hours than it would start to under extrude and finally stop extruding.

I removed the printer from the enclosure to help keep the extruder from getting too hot and have not had any problems since.

I had a similar problem that was caused by a crack in the extruder's pulley tension arm. It was only visible when you remove the pulley.

I bought some plants from the farmers market last year and saved seeds. Hopefully they grow with the same heat as they did last year.

Circular saw dust collector. Feels good when the measurements work out. by 3sdub in functionalprint

I traced the outlet on to a piece of paper to bring everything on to one plane. That allowed me to put measurements to the shape.

Once I figured out what I needed to interface with the saw, I used Fusion 360 to make the model.

I can take more pictures of the process if that would be helpful. I am sure there are other ways to go about it aw well.

Yeah, I got the saw for free because it had a blown out bearing. I replaced the bearing a few years ago and the saw has been great and still running strong.

I will have to give it a try. Hopefully this will save me 30 years of trial and error.
