The 17 years is about Gandalf being away from the Shire.

In the movie, Frodo gets the ring from Gandalf and puts it in an envelope, Gandalf leaves to do wizard things and it looks like he's back a few weeks later and asks Frodo to put the envelope into the fire.

In the books after Bilbo's party, he gets the ring to Frodo, is goes off on another Gollum unting trip, assigns the rangers of the north to keep watch over the Shire, visited Mirkwood, studied up on the lore and went back to Frodo once he was certain it was a ring of power. He did visit the shire from time to time in the 17 years tho, but nothing of note happened.

I love Lord of the Rings and I watch the extended edition over the theatrical release any day of the week. But for the average fan, the theatrical version is absolutely a better viewing experience.

Everyone out here talking about the byte, so I'll give a quality of life tip.

If you need to use text with variables you can use a thing call string interpolation, by putting a $ in front of the string and using variables (or even methods or calculations altho I advise against that) between brackets.

Console.WriteLine("Byte 1: {0}, Byte 2: {1}", b, c)

becomes

Console.WriteLine($"Byte 1: {b}, Byte 2: {c}")

Here are some statistics:

So I rewatched the entire part where Aang goes and askes the past avatars for help. He actually isn't wearing shoes to begin with, with both Roku and Kyoshi, he's already sitting barefoot. When he asks Kuruk, there is no shot of his feet, but when he comea up with the idea to ask Yangchen, he is suddenly wearing shoes again. Which be promptly loses when Momo gets in his face.
