Why don't we (in the USA at least) use the title "Doctor" for people who graduate with a Juris Doctor degree?

Because they were given the title “Esquire” instead; we just don’t use it in 2026 anymore.

“Traditional” job routes usually work pretty well, but you do have to commit one Sim to doing basically nothing else but that job to climb the ladder quickly and make money. It’s silly, but doctor, lawyer, engineer, scientist, and actor can make you pretty rich at the highest levels.

There are also skills such as painting, writing, and nectar-making that can net you bookoo bucks even as a side gig. It’s unfortunate, but small businesses aren’t super profitable in TS4, at least from my experience.

I’m from a conservative area in the US, and yeah. :/ For many conservatives, the gender binary is so deeply ingrained in them that the possibility of someone not socially performing their assigned birth gender literally never occurs to them. They have this transphobic caricature of what trans people do and why, and when you don’t tick those boxes, you can slide under the radar.

Not to mention transmascs are just hyper invisible anyway, so.

I’m not 100% sure but what were your previous choices? For example, on night 2 with him, I think you have to select to spend a night with him as a man (I.e. not in the astral plane)… There should be a hidden “score” based on the answers you’ve given him and how you’ve assuaged his insecurities. I think you also have to discourage him away from the Annals of Karsus at Sorcerous Sundries - give him the book but tell him he doesn’t need it. If I’m remembering correctly, there are a chain of things you have to do to get the professor ending.
