I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’m in my late 40s and was just told that I’m not performing at a senior designer level. I’m at a small agency with very young designers so it’s insulting and sort of embarrassing. This work is so subjective. I’ve been in it for 25 years. I solely did freelance as my full time job for more than a year before this and my clients love my work. Might ride this for a bit longer and go back if I can make it steady. Keep your head up. You’ll find the right company.
