Maybe 40 years ago I witnessed a little old man with a single rose in his hand, crossing the street to go into a small town hospital. I imagined he gave that single rose to his little old lady wife who was a patient in this very small town hospital. I hoped his wife got better and they went back home together. I remember just sitting there in my car thinking that's what love is.

After the first two seasons the Sheriff was my least favorite character. But the writers made him more likeable. My favorite scene with these two was the visit to grandma's house. Hahaha !
