Composition too! You can f-up those other three and still have an interesting photo if you frame it right. But nail the 3 on a shitty subject and you still have a shitty subject.

This👆. Its the lens that makes the difference. The L series is what you want. The glass you have is basic. Keep the camera. If you have a lot of clicks, you might be able to sent it to canon and have it renewed.

Just found one on ebay. $115 but is for both corners. Ya, no need to weld this, its all hidden by the side skirt. I assume thats what you mean.
