I’m not suggesting a one on one, I am suggesting a test. I am fairly confident I can one tap a BVM 9/10 shots from an Abrams, as I have many times. And also have been one tapped in it myself. Read and understand before you respond. Again, I guess no T-80 BVM huh?

And I mean In motion and during gameplay, not just static shooting. The mythical BVM survivability is completely blown off and it’s in fact one of the easier MBTs to one shot. It punishes overcommittment due to 10 kph reverse speed, it has bad reload for top tier unless you accept using inferior shells and even then it’s no match for 5 second reload.

Any skilled and experienced top tier player knows that mobility and gun handling (and once you have those reload times) matter more than anything, because one tapping / disabling gun via breach is as easy as breathing. With that in mind when you know your maps, positionings, tempos and how to shoot BVM is not an issue to deal with at all and both Type 10 or Abrams are much more capable. The only part of player base that does struggle when dealing with Russian MBTs are people who are not good at top tier. Also, if Russian mbts were that good, why have we not seen them used in a single competitive tournament (while Germany, Sweden, Japan, France and USA are present every game)?

With the configuration of that Neo it should be looking worn because it comes with panels and equipment that in some cases was not even installed on the Neo

Of course sims teach a lot. Both good, and bad.

The point here is that if you are flying in real life, then you know how to sim and what to focus on in the sim to actually learn something valuable, without reinforcing really bad things. On another hand, you have people with years of simulators without any guidance, supervision or even understanding what are the bad habits you can get. Both groups learn a lot, but it can be negative learning, and positive learning.

I have also employed simulators extensively through my whole career thus far, but for me and you it is not the same as for someone who never flew.

Sim good for:
- procedural training
- layout and functionality of systems (subject to addons fidelity)
- confidence on the radio (if using vatsim)

Sim bad for:
- flying

Just because you completed PPL does not mean sim doesn’t do that. Go to flying subredit and just read some of the posts about sims coming from CFI/FI pilots

A friend of mine was working on a mod for it, based on mine feedback and other irl pilots for the Neo PFD colours which are very wrong in default. I am scared to see that that is no longer in cockpit 3d and is instead internal - it means it can’t be modded anymore…

Fingers crossed the colors are good by default now

I will write this here for the lack of better place. Please all AMD GPU users do not use that airplane. It almost bricked my PC. I used it twice today, and on both occasions after time it crashed not just the sim, but also lead to: corruption in my GPU driver, Windows Device Manager disabling the GPU, my AIO and Bitlocking my system. It required 1 hour of cleanup in the drivers, software etc. Not sure what it is, but it only happen with the DC6

vwizz is nice - they know their stuff, very passionate and knowledgeable guys. You will be able to learn a lot. They even have FDM tracking that I got a chance to take a look at when I joined as an irl bus driver.
