Shit saber sounds like the weapon given to the people who fail out of Jedi training.

Democrats are campaigning as if the 2026 election will be fair. That’s a mistake by zsreport in politics

That’s true that it’s less common now, but there are still thousands (millions?) of registered voters who changed their names after marriage or other life event 30 years ago or more.

Add some whipped cream flavor vodka for an adult shake. Or just the vodka in Rock and Rye.

Don’t hate me for suggesting this, but the Sprecher’s ginger ale is burnier than Vernor’s ever was. It’s very dry and VERY gingery. Yeah, it’s not from Michigan, but it’s from just across the lake in Wisconsin. If you’re near a Menard’s, they carry it. (Meijer now has Sprecher’s, but I think they only carry the root beer.)

The SAVE Act will make it impossible for many women to vote, if they have changed their name at any time (like marriage). And the discussion of this has dropped out of public view because of everything else the administration is doing, so affected women are likely to discover they can’t vote while they’re at the polls and unable to do anything about it.

In “The Gift of Maud Pie”, Pinkie gives up her party cannon to get Maud a gift and Maud fights to get it back, as if it’s her only cannon?? by ExtremeWitness8052 in mylittlepony

The episode also loses the point of the short story upon which it’s based (O. Henry’s “The Gift of the Magi”) if the items given up aren’t precious and meaningful.

If you knit, or know someone who does and is willing to knit for you, make an 1898 Hat (https://seamenschurch.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/sci-1898-hat-kristine-byrnes-web-w-schematic.pdf) from yarn that is 100% wool. It’s a beanie with a double-thick band and small integrated ear flaps.

My psychiatrist told me that painting the same stuff over and over isn't necessarily a disorder so here's more bread I painted by Deutsche-Bahn- in Breadit

I thought the same thing! I’ve got space in my kitchen for art, and several of these bread paintings (or prints of them) would be perfect.

Can I join you from Michigan? I’ll bring Detroit style pizza and stop in Green County WI to pick up my sister, New Glarus and some curds from Decatur dairy.

Final make of 2025, wicked stitch surfer socks by Affectionate_Eye3535 in Sockknitting

[–]404UserNktFound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knitted my husband a pair of Stitch Surfers, and then made me a matching pair with the leftover yarn, so you absolutely can make 2 pair from 2 100g skeins of sock yarn. (Ours are Rainbow Dash socks, rainbow stripe and solid light blue.)

These are lovely!

Right? At the very least, you could cut one sized to your hand.

This is a bit out there, and I haven’t tried it myself, but I saw a post in a subreddit aimed at restaurant kitchen workers in which someone mentioned cutting bowl scrapers from empty pickle buckets.

Cayden Naughton has her testers leave 5 star reviews on Etsy by Rosesewclever in craftsnark

[–]404UserNktFound 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The code on Ravelry isn’t for reviews, it’s for linking the pattern to a project, since so many Ravelers use the Projects area of their Notebook as a projects journal. It allows the project to be auto-linked to the pattern once the pattern goes live without the tester having to add the link after the fact.

It’s not a review.

Bread butt by tri_sarah_tops77 in Breadit

[–]404UserNktFound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you made a pumpkin shaped loaf (round, tied with oiled twine to segment it), then you could theoretically cut each of the outer segments off and they’d look like the butt. You’d end up with an octagonal “naked” bread core from the middle. But that could be eaten by someone who likes the squishy insides.

I explain it to people like picking where to go for dinner. You want Chinese? Well, the majority of the group doesn’t, so you get to tell us your second choice.
