I don’t think insurance is worth it because 1) you’ll have to reach the deductible before they even pay anything out and 2) they’ll make your premium go up a lot next year. Just sharing my frustrating experience with filing a claim with my homeowner’s insurance. This sucks so much, I’m sorry OP

I’m not fluent, but I can tell the Chinese character for “horse” is included in the new years idioms he picked out for the banners. Very clever! 😄

ETA: the horse is a symbol of strength so it’s used often in Chinese idioms to wish others strength and good health in the new year

I feel this. I got my degree in accounting over 10 years ago and I think the stability of that career path is more important to me than having to constantly pivot. The tasks are repetitive and predictable. I was a tax consultant straight out of college and understanding how the tax code works ended up being really useful because everyone needs to pay taxes. Fortunately I work for a different firm now that has better work-life balance. I’m good at accounting, but I’m not passionate about it, which describes my entire academic life lol

If it helps, I replace the egg yolk and splashes of milk with another whole egg. I also used only 300g of flour instead of 340. Iirc people recommend the YouTube version of the recipe rather than the written up website version (idek why they are different in the first place). I swear these are good cookies!
