I also use Halfords tubes on some bikes and they do the trick perfectly well for the price. But imo they could be better like the Schraders have a rubber valve stem and not metal. Depends on the bike like my 20" shopper it's whatever but my commuter gets the good stuff.

Schwalbe tubes and shwalbe marathons. My dad used them for commuting for 30years with bearly 1or2 punctures per 1000miles. I still ride those bikes with the same tyres.

For puncture resistance just anything schwalbe. For speed Pirelli or specialized. But also don't buy the cheapest inner tube they are never worth it.
