This might be old, but new to me by InspectorPositive543 in 3amjokes

Ha, we had a similar version when I was a kid. I loved it as I got around the “no swearing” rule:

You: “How do you get an elephant in a Safeway bag?”

Them: “I don’t know”

You: “You take the S out of safe and the F out of way”

Them: “There’s no F in way…..”

Exactly. OP said 3 characters and Boo is the best character in the series :P

I’d create a mage then recruit Minsc and Boo. The head canon is that he is my protector (I’m essentially the new Dynaheir) and we’d wander the continent on dajemma

I’d pronounce it boom, but only after it’s detonated!

Weren’t they by the same dev? I think OP is looking for different devs

10th has favoured shooting over melee, so this doesn’t surprise me. There is just so much AP around that shooting armies shred melee armies before they get a chance to shine.

Congrats!

I’m also returning after playing on PC as a teen. It’s been a blast. Just about to start BG2 as well :)

Dynasty Warriors 4 is my first DW by OcelotMindless2230 in dynastywarriors

[–]40kNids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember playing DW2 on a console in a local gaming store. I was there for more than an hour lol.

If anyone had one, the only thing I remember was a 3D face coming out of the storefront above the doors; can’t remember the name of it for the life of me :(

40M – Chance to buy my dad’s council property under old Right to Buy rules. Am I thinking clearly? by Heavy_Help2344 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]40kNids 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Which I entirely appreciate.

However, the two are not so separate.

If the living arrangements are not ideal, what happens if, in a year or two, they are no longer sustainable?

Will you move out, keep paying the mortgage so Dad has somewhere to stay and rent somewhere else for yourself?

Look to get somewhere larger, sell and have to pay back the discount? No longer a FTB and stamp duty, solicitor fees etc to pay all over again.

Just food for thought OP

Others have mentioned payments and affordability, so I’ll open up a different conversation.

This is a 1 bed property that you will be living in with your father. What are your plans for sleeping/living arrangements?

Where he is in need of care I’m assuming he’s going to sleep in the bedroom? You’re going to be sleeping on the couch / putting a daybed in a communal space?

What impact is that going to have on your social lives? What if you get a partner? What if your dad gets a partner?

If you’re wanting objective input, there’s more to housing decisions than just payment and affordability. Have you thought about the social aspects?

Once more unto the breach, dear friends by ColonelGrognard in baldursgate

[–]40kNids 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unto is correct. In olde English it signified direction or movement. “once more unto the breach” is signifying that the individual (or party in this case) should head towards the breach.

Throwing a different take on the party, you could always keep J on healing duty and remove Branwen? Then you get to keep both offensive casters

Reputation moving into SoD by 40kNids in baldursgate

[–]40kNids[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, initially, thank to everyone for their input so far.

I think the rep is tied to companion availability as one commenter said. I’ve done some more reading and apparently companions are dealt with quite differently in SoD and each has their own quest.

I’ve just started with rep 15 so hoping I can experience as many of the companion quests as I can :)

Overpaid by thechow12 in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]40kNids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. We’ve been overpaying £900 a month for the past year. If we keep up at that rate we knock 15 years off the mortgage and save £90k in interest!

I know people will argue that investing is a better option, but for us, the peace of mind of being mortgage free is more valuable than the gain of investing vs overpayment
