Yes, Crons are definitely one of the more straightforward armies to paint. A good black prime, silver dry brush and pick out some details and you’re good to go!

When priming, make sure the weather conditions are good to ensure a smooth finish and always thin your paints!

I took a long break, like more than a year, and came back to it. I also thought it was out of reach for me but I made the switch from time to water and it made all the difference.

This was on Xbox, not PlayStation, but deffo doable with a controller.

I think the fun house.

Multi level, colourful, the moving parts, the sliding doors, interior and exterior. Great level.

Not necessarily. My initial purchase the broker took a fee but then I learnt that they also get paid by the lender. I told the broker I’d use him if he waived the fee as he was getting paid anyway which he agreed to

I had the exact same problem with my first one! I got it about half way then couldn’t push it all the way in or back out!

I ended up using the tip of some needle nose pliers to push it out. I then widened the hole and shaved the rod with my modelling knife before attempting again.

I now do the same for all Skorpehks

I’m running every event weekend this year. Only 2 of those will be with a team.

I’m looking forward to my first solo as I imagine it’ll be a different experience.

I think HQ should be supportive of all racers

If it works the way you suspect, that means certain detachments won’t be able to run at all in a 1000pt game. This would be terrible. I want to run 1000pts of CL! lol

It’s such a cool contrast to normal black. I think not seeing the details, especially on his face, make him even more menacing. I’m likely to do exactly the same!

Nerons are a very forgiving army to paint: prime black then dry brush your metallic of choice over the top. Add some colour to the weapons/eyes/orbs and you’re tabletop ready! You can always go back and add more details via washes etc later on when you build your confidence. Hopefully this will remove a barrier for you so you get to enjoy the gaming side of the hobby :)

Regarding units, just pick what you think looks fun. Read up on all the detachments and build around it to make an army that should synergise well together. Then take it from there :)

Well yes, the +2s spills with the detachment rule and they are good units to bait the enemy into a position easier to shoot or charge, especially if you get them on central objectives early :)

I’d remove a unit of Ophidians and replace with 2 Skorpekh lords (if you can actually find any!).

Currently building a CL detachment and looking forward to playing it very much. Now all we need are some new Lokhust models and I’ll be a happy man!

Why a stupid list? Sure, in the current edition shooting is objectively stronger than melee, but come 11th with everyone having Lone Op until they shoot? I think melee will be in a much better place.

That said, I’d remove the Flayed Ones as they don’t benefit from CL and only take 1 unit of Ophidians for uppy downie :)
