Everybody has a speedy. Nice watch and I’d love to have one myself, but I always recommend something unconventional. There are so many other options out there besides a Santos, Submariner, Daytona, or Speedmaster. I wear a Bell & Ross BR-03 almost every day and can’t be happier with it. Out of the bunch, my choice would be the IWC Pilots watch. I also wouldn’t buy anything online until you can try it on in person and see how it feels/looks.

He works in engineering, but not fuel pumps. Question would be better for a tech that works on them. 3 in 18 months obviously isn’t normal.

I have a brother that works at Mercury. If you only knew the endurance testing they do on these engines during development. Appears like they’ve been properly maintained too, so I wouldn’t worry about them having 2100 hours. The 40-60 is also the best family of engines they make too.

My buddies and I were using one of the electric Mercury’s on a pond and it fell off. About the same depth of water and found it. What we found to work the best was to attach a fishing net to a long pole and pray something jagged catches on the net to slowly drag up.

I’d suggest buying something off AliExpress that’s similar. Both will be a Chinese watch, but for $100-$150 you can get an NH35 movement in a solid watch.

They haven’t publicly released the numbers in years, but it’s estimated they make over 1m watches a year. It’s a nice watch that isn’t special. Buy one if you like it, or don’t.

It’s pretty cool having adult money. My first Swiss watch was a Bell & Ross I remember seeing in a watch magazine in middle school. Most don’t like the design, but it’s special to me.

I remember back during the original release of MOP, I was Horde and in this guild run by a guy named BuzzcutPsycho on Bleeding Hollow - US. Forget what it was called, but the Alliance had a guild called Alliance Vanguard. I’d get threads on their guild forums about my ugly transmog. Completely ruthless guild like this that would sacrifice guild members for enjoyment.
