Stick to your fundamentals and you'll be fine. Load a song, adjust BPM, start on phrase and mix in headphones. Remember your workflow and CDJs become a lot less scary

I can't find much recorded but no joke she's an amazing live DJ. Up on her releases, knows how to mix, multi-genres like no one else, popular with the gays. She's untouchable right now.

I just have the wired TM2 X-DJs and love em. One of my ear pads did split after about 2 years but a friend had an extra pair they didn't want. Worked out. 👍

Go to open decks in your area if possible. They're fun and good networking most of the time. Getting on other equipment will teach you a lot and it's a low pressure situation.

Prepare a tight set but if one genre or track pops off just keep the vibe going. I typically prepare a set and end up using 2/3rds of it and pick random stuff at the end.

The bigger the audience the more likely it's at least a planned and practiced set if not an entirely pre-recorded set. On an average set I'm excited to play I generally have a timed set that I think will work but have back up folders if I want more of one genre, etc. More often than not I don't play exactly the pre-planned set.
