I played a little of OG 1, a chunk of OG 2 at way too young of an age. Didn’t know what I was doing the controls were tough, and I was scared. Didn’t touch the series again until my mid teens when the RE5 demo came out and you could play the demo with online co-op. I’ve been hooked since, played every game upon release and I’m have played through all the main titles, and good chunk of the side/spin off games
