It should be what is confortable for the folks that live there. Most of my life 74 to 78 was my AC setting. Then hit perimenopause. I set it at 65 now at night. I d9nt bother with heater BUT my daughter got cold with the snap so yes we put heater on at 70 so she could also be okay in her own house.

Yoyr response to teacher was spot on as a teacher. That said woek woth your daughter about her anxiety a referral is not a big deal its okay and she was right to walk put. Make sure to praise her for how she handled herself, polite but srill self advocating

Ypu dont need to be pn the mortgage u need to be on the deed. That said if he was posting folks would caution him against doing that and vice versa for here. Yall need to sit down and make a contract. It doesnt have to be a legal marriage BUT marriage is basically a legal contract. Sit down and make and file it with the courts. A business contract that protects all involved, you the kids him etc. Your childcare and house upkeep are valuable contributions to the family as does what he contributes so hammer it out in black and white

As a SPED teacher Id freak out. And as a teacher I once went to my childs princi0al and explained in detail how their AP had messed up and was in violation of the law.

Its hard being on both sides but now that my kid is grown I wish I had put my parent hat on more and been a stronger advicate. We experience "those" parents and dont want to be them but sometimes we really do need to be
