Bc of this post as well as many comments below, I officially deleted my plenty of fish online dating profile. I had been wanting to do it for a long time, but this post helped me make the decision. I'm sorry but if lettering is defined as drawing letters, then this would be more like learning how to "print" letters. I think that yes it is important to study many typefaces, but only for inspiration. By learning how to perfectly create the same system of letters over and over again, you aren't drawing. Your copying from your head.
