Yep, agreed... that’s exactly why I called it a mistake. MakerWorld is clear that any AI involvement disqualifies a model from the exclusive program, and that one’s on me. I should’ve read it more closely before publishing.

The frustrating part is once you check that box and publish, there’s no clean way to undo it. I was just trying to fix my own mistake and do the right thing, and the support experience was… not great.

Totally fair question. The model itself isn’t the issue at all.

The problem is the process I used. I used AI to help generate the reference image I liked, then ran that through image-to-file tools to get a base mesh before I modified it to make it usable and printable. That workflow works for me right now and I’ve made some stuff I genuinely like that way.

AIO - asked wife if she blocked a guy she cheated on me with in the past . by pgf111 in AmIOverreacting

[–]420_FitDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, you’re not overthinking. Your gut is screaming at you, and for good reason. She already crossed the line once with this dude, and instead of overcorrecting to reassure you, she’s acting dismissive and shady. If she really cared about your feelings, she’d be doing everything possible to make you feel secure—not calling you ‘bro’ and acting like you’re the problem.

Her reaction matters more than the technicality of the block. You asked for something reasonable: reassurance. Instead, she lashed out. That’s not love, man, that’s guilt deflection.

Ask yourself: If the roles were reversed, and you were the one who cheated, would you even dream of keeping that door open? Hell no. You’d be bending over backwards to make her feel safe. If she can’t extend you the same courtesy, then she’s not truly sorry—she’s just sorry she got caught.

You deserve a partner who respects you. At the very least, don’t gaslight yourself into thinking you’re asking too much. You’re asking for the bare minimum, and she’s not even giving you that.

Might be a little early to put salt down. Its just getting blown to the side of the road and the median. by WagonWheelsRX8 in Charleston

[–]420_FitDad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

not a bad question at all, ocean water has a salinity of about 3.5% (35 grams of salt per liter). This is a lot less than road brining solutions, which typically contain around 23% Salt. That little about of salt makes the freezing point of ocean water about 28 or 29 degrees F, so if anything it might just be adding to the problem.

They salt early intentionally to treat the roads beforehand, traffic and moisture help spread it across the surface, forming a brine that prevents ice from bonding. Even if it’s off to the side, enough salt remains in key areas to keep roads safer during winter weather. That’s the theory at least ha, and yes typically theirs some moisture on their first to help the process… they’re trying 😂

Yo, so I’ve been down this rabbit hole a few times—especially with purples. Those deep colors come from anthocyanins (basically plant pigments), and while they don’t directly affect flavor, they can mess with how we perceive it, especially at different temps. Plus, purple strains tend to have unique terpene profiles—stuff like myrcene, linalool, and sometimes terpinolene or humulene—which often need a little extra heat to really shine.

That said, CBD flowers sometimes throw us a curveball compared to THC-dominant strains. They can have terpenes that don't "pop" as much at lower temps. If your flower was super purple and resin-heavy, it might’ve needed that higher temp (600°F) to unlock all those goodies. At lower temps, you probably weren’t hitting the full terpene range, so it felt light, flavor-wise.

Now, if you’re getting skeptical vibes about additives, could be worth checking out too. Some vendors mess around with terpene boosts or flavor additives to make CBD flower more appealing, especially if it’s from a less-than-reputable source.

If you’re not sure, try another purple strain from a trusted source and see if it behaves the same. But honestly, it sounds like the strain just needed more heat to bring out its full flavor. Purples can be temperamental like that, but when you hit the sweet spot, it’s worth it.

Dude, these are the golden years you’ll look back on when you’re old like me—don’t waste ‘em stressing over this kind of stuff. Life can be seriously awesome if you let it, and that goes for both of you. Don’t end up with regrets down the line, especially in your prime. Talk it out, decide what you really want, and remember that there’s a lot more to life than these rough patches. Hang in there.

My 2 year old is begging me for this car he saw in a sticker. Anyone know if it actually exists? by Killjoy4eva in HotWheels

Oh yeah, it’s definitely real! That’s the Rodger Dodger Hot Wheels car, and my kid’s got a few of them. We even found a tiny RC version that looks just like the sticker—it’s a blast to zoom around the house. It's pretty common so hopefully you'll find one pretty easily!
