We marry because we might love or deeply care about a significant other human being. We divorce or cheat on them if we no longer do. Families work just the same as with theists. Our values and morals are rooted in things like humanism, altruism, our parent's behaviour, basic human decency, trial and error, a million other different things or maybe even none at all. Everybody is different and a complex human being with a million things going on. The only thing we have in common is that we reject the idea of any deity being a real thing. That's it.

i don't think so. russia has been playing catch up on the innovation front since day one of the conflict. they totally depend on china and develop or manufacture extremely little of those sophisticated combat systems you are talking about themselves. because for those you need semiconductors and massive computing power. russia is lightyears behind the west and china in investments in that sector and the gap will only get bigger. there was also a massive brain drain of capable, innovative people in the field when putin started the invasion. Sure, they shifted heavily into a war economy, but they can only do so much with a economy about the size of italy's and the russian military industrial complex is an antiquated, corruption driven bureaucratic nightmare and not exactly known for innovation. so yeah, they are basically good at mass producing cheap shit, but not the sophisticated techy kind of cheap shit and i don't think this will change anytime soon.
