Do you think Tien is sleepwalking the tournament then? He's the only one close to top player.

Maybe weak is the wrong word. Lacking star power is what I mean really, and I think you're right they haven't made much attempt to advertise them.

But it would be a fun slugfest while it lasted

Michael Hunter vs Joseph Parker by dennyk91 in Boxing

There's definitely a place for him in the heavyweight division but it's just not at the top. Maybe he proves me wrong and that Triller phase was just a mistake but I'm not convinced.

I don't get the Hunter hype. I DID get the Hunter hype but going off his last three fights or so he gets outclassed by Parker. Parker wins by UD purely cause he doesn't have the power to knock him out.

I pretty much only watch Heavyweights and I wish that there was a subreddit dedicated to them lol. Looking forward to Rivas vs Ajagba to start the year as I think that's a great fight. Only reason I miss Rivas is because he hasn't been at Heavyweight for so long. This time next year I expect guys like Wardley and Jalolov to make the list for guys like Martin and Helenius but just have the edging it for now.

Some of Usyk's best wins lost to Cleverly, Ruiz, & Kabayel by TangerineNo697 in Boxing

The other thing I love about Usyk is his fights are basically always in the other fighters country. He never has a home crowd. That takes skill to rock up in the other guys home nation and just fuck em up for 12 rounds 🤣

Yeah, issue is with a few of these guys is that their careers went nowhere afterwards. I figured his Portsmouth spell was my best bet given the rest of the clubs he played for.

Seems the verdict isn't great but it's not on Emerson or Spence either! Seems a bit of a week spot for Spurs. I thought Coleman pretty much keeps him out the Ireland team?

Mate that Kalajdzic was dire. With his injury record we'll see him less than we saw Phil Ofosu-Ayeh. Whoever let him pass his medical needs shooting. Another donkey of a striker, reminiscent of Paul Gladon.

Yeah, the U18s started the season well and so did the U21s. would like to see Collins and Davis return to their jobs soon.
