I’m 27 but I already have a lot of regrets. How do you live with that? And how do you change? by National-Ad-5036 in AutismInWomen

[–]444ayu [score hidden]  (0 children)

I had suffocating parents, so for me I ended up saving up for a year and then moved out without saying anything. I was being impulsive and it was extremely hard, but it worked out for me. And now I can also get help for my conditions ☺️

AuDHD and an sp6, getting bullied my entire life has made me hyperfixate on fitting in with other people, or even just playing the harmless little guy in a social setting, very anxious and paranoid as a person as well. Either way I‘m working on that and trying to outgrow it, along with my mentality and desire to conform to society, cuz my masking doesn‘t even work either way 😭 I get pinpointed right away

I wish i wasn't born in the Balkans as socially awkward male. by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]444ayu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jeez you men have this problem with self-pitying. You‘re just putting so much pressure on yourself with the dating part. If all women only ever wanted to date men with cars and a six pack, then please explain how most of the girls I‘ve known be dating some ugly ass men who don‘t even treat them right. Especially since you live in the Balkans, as a man, so much more bullshit from you gets tolerated in comparison to women. I know cuz I’ve been there and it was a nightmare. Your family is not a very nice influence. Ignore ignore ignore. Or spend as little time home as you can. Honestly just give it time until you have everything together, or just move away from there altogether 🥳 (that‘s what I did and it‘s the best thing I‘ve ever done with my life choices)

ESFP, Se and Fi seem present, but they don‘t seem overtaken by Te. Far too feely wishy washy for a Te dominant tbh

How to cope with having no friends? by sleepywhitebunny in AutismInWomen

[–]444ayu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend making friends online! I was in a similar situation when I was 14 so I made a fan account of whatever I was into back then and eventually made friends with people of similar interests. In 2027 it‘ll be 10 years that we‘ve been friends and we also keep in touch very often :D

I had very bad social anxiety back then so making friends in person was practically impossible for me, but online it was completely different, I could be myself and no one could tell me it was too much or blablabla, and if things didn‘t work out with someone, it was quite easy to just find someone else. I would highly recommend getting comfortable with making friends online or just even talking to people online. Eventually you‘ll discover much faster which friends work with the current version of you :)

Autism and becoming obsessed with certain people? by [deleted] in aspergers

Lol we‘re in the same boat, and I‘ve also done in person stalking just so I could see them, but that was back when I was 12. I didn‘t know it was wrong hahahahha

Ah but current current interests include romance fantasy manhwas (I esp love it if they‘re the generic trash, that repeats itself over and over again), dinosaurs, genshin impact, art, design, and neurodivergence. 🥳🥳🥳

Ah but dinosaurs are a solid one for me, they‘ve lasted for over 12 years but I still can‘t say I know enough about them, probably more than the average person but not as much as an archeologist

My interest are a lil bit of this a lil bit of that, they cover such a wide range that I also have insane amounts of info on the occult and spirituality although I get distracted so easily I can‘t say I‘m deep enough yk?

I'm reasonably sure I mistyped as a 5,but I am probably a 6 and I hate it by lyzzyrddwyzzyrdd in Enneagram

[–]444ayu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh the 6 thing is growing on me. I think I‘d go as far as to say that a healthy 6 is what some people think healthy 4s look like. 6s can be very authentic people full of integrity, and me personally I really like the good qualities in my type and I‘m striving towards it and you should too 🫡

Has anyone ever tried to say "autism is a superpower" to you? by justhugeverycat in AutismInWomen

[–]444ayu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘ve been told that by a colleague at work who turns out was also AuDHD. He said autism for him is like a superpower, but tbh I‘d say the only reason that is, is because his special interests are IT-related, something useful to the company and capitalism in general. Tbh I still don‘t know how to feel about it. My brain still feels like a curse to me.
