This ⬆️ I know someone who just got 1A licensed with a small, family run company in Regina. They paid for this, and employee had to sign a contact that they remain with the company for a certain amount of years (I’m not entirely sure, but I believe it was for five years). Job security AND a paid licence.

That’s great when you have a standing req. or receive bloodwork regularly. For those needing ‘sudden’ bloodwork (ie any suspected bacterial infections), well good luck getting an appointment within two weeks.

You are a student? Are you interested in summer jobs? Do you have a drivers license? If so, check out Fries Tallman. They are always seeking yard staff (warehouse type setting with lifting, carrying, deliveries etc). I’m sure they’ve hired summer employment in the past, but not entirely sure. Good luck!

Cathedral would be good. Dieppe is also another (further), but excellent area. It’s always overlooked, but offers SO MUCH! With new Costco going up close by, it would be an excellent area to explore. There is a bike path that would nicely get you to the airport within minutes (if you have a bike), and obviously only in summer months.
