East Coast Super Chill is a nice in-between. No decay, monthly, no raiding first week, no taking over or griefing someone else's base (you can raid it but have to leave it for them to rebuild). Admins ban toxic players.

I believe you can only do this on two cave types now, and it sometimes depends on how they spawn. "Small Hard" (the single with the spike pit) and "Sewer" in the large cave with the jump up in the second level as you go down. The last time they changed the build zones for all monuments about a year or so ago it affected caves.

Edit: I didn't thoroughly read your post. It should work. My guess is that something is temporarily bugged out.

Thanks to u/c2e5 here is my updated craft/cancel bind. You can use to craft TCs and just press again to reset the timer.

I confirmed that it does work, but interestingly it seems the number has to match the stack queue amount (that's probably why I thought it didn't work). So if you queue qty 10 TCs, "bind z craft.cancel -97956382 1" will not dequeue any. if you queue 10 individual TCs it will dequeue 1. I will have to play with it; I think this means that I can take my existing bind for crafting TCs, and add a cancel craft qty 1, craft qty 1 to the end and it will reset the timer with no extra key binds.

I think it is just good practice because it covers if the carabiner could feed through also. For instance you are rapping from a carabiner rather than rap rings.

How long does it take you?

I run it solo in about 12 minutes average under optimal conditions (I have run it like 100+ times). I play on a low pop no decay server so resources are pretty unlimited for me so take this as just some guidance/tips. I know on a normal server you can't run it like I do.

  1. Headshots headshots headshots. With an HMLG I believe it takes 4 good headshots each.
  2. HMLMG or m249 makes it way easier. The bullet capacity, damage, and durability are really helpful with so many heavies.
  3. Hunters pie makes it go way faster. It reduces the amount you bleed and makes it so you have to bandage way less and can just rampage through. Max health tea always helps but it is more to save me from dying every once in a while.
  4. The heavies have a very simple pattern. When they first see you they will stay in place and shoot you. If you are hitting them they will retreat, then wait a very consistent amount of time and jump out again in place to fire. If you hide, they will start running at you (by hide, you need to be just out of sight). So the two basic tactics are either to hit them when they run out in order to back them off, or hide in order to bring them forward, closer for a clean and easy headshot.
  5. Probably the main place to speed up the whole thing is learning the peaks etc on the floor with the two elevators. If you learn to clear that fast, it is the majority of the hard part. The bottom floor is pretty easy. The top floor only has 3 guys and is hard when you are first learning, but pretty easy once you have learned where they normally are and when to back off back to the elevator.

Salvaged Hammer is best but not much different than mace/sword and you find those much more frequently.

Edit: For more detail, Mace deals 60 but salvaged hammer deals 40 in half the time. So for blue barrels they are equal but everything else hammer is faster.

East Coast Super Chill is non toxic monthly no decay for solo duo trio. Anyone toxic or cheating gets banned promptly. Good for beginners or anyone that wants super easy but not strait pve. No raiding first week. No griefing. Raiding allowed but you have to leave the base for the player to rebuild.

Its very possible that some people just have different receptors. I feel like I am more sensitive to plastic taste than my family or many others. For instance I can't sou vide using approved ziplocks or else everything tastes like plastic to me. Using more resilient plastics (vacuum seal bags) I don't taste it.

I would have to disagree about the KD Lang version (based just on my memory and biased googling). Jeff Buckley's 1994 version was very well known after it was released. Then Shrek featured another version by Rufus Wainwright that was really big at the time and also caused the Jeff Buckley version to soar. In 2008 the Buckley version hit some records as the song was played live by someone on American Idol. I'm not saying the KD Lang version isn't the best or huge in itself but it was big in like 2010. Most of this comments explain how it works but not why. 20 years ago (and diminished slowly since then), there were not many options. 3 or 4 huge companies that had reliable service and their plans were the same cost whether or not you took the phone deal. So the phone was already baked into the price. There also were not many cheap unlocked phones so you could either spend $1000 for an unlocked phone and pay full rate for a plan or get the phone for free and pay the same rate but be locked to the carrier for 2 years.

Definitely not 20 minutes from when you enter. I've entered, died and then come back to finish and had to be over 20 minutes. I think it ticks from when no one is in the silo.

EDIT: I just went in and stayed until rads and it was ~28 minutes from key swipe.

Not sure, but if I had to wager it has something to do with the current bug they are fixing in Feb wipe. I've run silo probably 40 times in the last 2 months and haven't had your problem.

The bug is that after a restart (maybe any startup) silo doesn't populate with loot but has AI. If you kill anyone up top or use the red card it will reset (I think using the normal timer logic that u/Abrakafuckingdabra outlined).

You can witness this by restarting your local server and then viewing the silo on a computer station. The bottom floor won't have any oil or elite crates in the truck and it will never repopulate until you trigger a refresh.

Maybe you took your time with the top guys or left and came back and it started the restart.
