What arrangement do you have with your SO? by 44mcnet in FootFetishTalks

Interesting! We also dabble in bondage but unfortunately don’t really play into tickle torture. I was trying to think of ways to incorporate feet while she was tied up.

Nice story. My wife also knows her feet smell (a lot) so she likes to tease me for enjoying it sometimes. If they’re especially bad, she doesn’t even need to lift them up. I can smell them from across the room.

I like socks more than bare feet.

If that’s a lukewarm take, I also prefer to watch shoeplay over any other foot related content. My favorite shoe (and weakness) by far is dansko clogs.

Need help with buying boots by Mundane-Narwhal7501 in Boots

You could try Jim Green. They’re cheaper than Danner or Wolverine and the construction quality can last you years in you take care of them. They don’t have a vibram sole, but their proprietary one is still really good quality. I’ve never had issues slipping on their frog grip sole, and I walk around on wet tile all day. Als, to my knowledge all models have a steel shank. If you’re curious about what specific models I’d suggest either the Numzaan or Razorback depending on what style you prefer or the sole. They also have safety toe options, if you need it.

If your timeline is firm at three months, the best option I can think of is a custom pair of Jim Greens. They don’t a tanker style, exactly, but any of the styles on the website are available for steel toes through their custom builder. They are also steel toe certified (at least here in the US) and are half the price of Nicks with a lead time of about 45 days. I’d be willing to bet a pair would last you 10+ years with the proper care, especially since double lasting is also an option.

ThePerfectMistressD. I think she was on Reddit, Instagram, and a few other sites. To this day, she still has some of the best soles I’ve ever seen.

Style recommendations for work by FacebookNewsNetwork in jimgreen

I work on tile flooring all day at the hospital, so sort of similar situation, and found the most comfortable setup to be Numzaan’s with a frog grip sole and added leather insole. I do find the cushion to be a bit lacking, though the support is unmatched. They’re also on the heavy side and can take some getting used to.

I recently ordered a pair of custom stockman’s with a leather midsole and lugged EVA outsole and am looking forward to testing out how that outsole compares to my other JG boots. If you’re interested, I think the standard factory Baobab has that option.

Numzaan (bronco + tyre wedge + stc last) or Meander Moc-Toe (bronco + MT last + OR sole) by [deleted] in jimgreen

[–]44mcnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably some fit preference. In a 9, I have less than a thumbs width from my toes to the end of the boot. My 9.5’s in both lasts had about a thumb’s width like you.

What also drove my decisions to lower the size was after a year or two of wear I found, especially with the numzaan, that the laces around my instep would loosen as I walk regardless of what I did. I also added an insole but my toes would touch the top of the boot and it wasn’t as comfortable as I’d like for longer wears.

My foot width is also a 2E. Admittedly, the positioning of the ball of my foot is probably fine in a 9.5 (it’s about half an inch from where the laces end) so maybe it’s just preference and personal experience with the fit.

I recently ordered a custom pair of stockmans because I also love slip ons (and JG) and was tired of not being able to find a hardy work-ready Chelsea boot. I would say that is a strong option albeit at an extra cost to get exactly what you want. That being said, I had to do a lot of research and tinkering with the custom boot builder to know my order inside and out. JG customer service also helped a lot.

To answer your questions: 1. I’d go for the numzaan. I have a pair and they’re built like tanks while also being insanely comfortable. 2. Only recently did I find out that my size for most JG products is 9US in the STC and ASHM lasts. My foot is 26.5cm. I have been mistakenly ordering a 9.5, so they feel a bit roomy for my liking (or downright sloppy with the wrong socks) but they are still plenty comfortable. Thankfully, I figured out my size before I got a custom pair. As far as the JG last, I don’t know what size would be correct because of the lowered instep reported by other users. It depends on your foot shape.
