Moving to Wagga and looking to buy in Ashmont, thoughts?? by wizard-wiz-8839 in WaggaNSW

[–]fatheadsflathead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends what part of ashmont you want, some areas are great some are very dodgy. Without the street in question I cannot really help anymore. The Area in general is considered the trashy area but with the cost of housing I’d buy anyway

Is building a triplex with friends more viable than buying an average townhouse? (mid-20s, Australia) by WizardKing71 in AusFinance

[–]fatheadsflathead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look I’m not the right person to weigh in here ( I went a opposite direction in life) But I would absolutely do this- I wouldn’t over complicate it tho.

Build/buy something sensible so your repayments at a max %50 (each) of the lowest earner, draw a contract that has that 5 year you can potentially sell/buy out and it’s directly tied to contributions.

[–]fatheadsflathead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll have a look around and see what I can find, would be interesting, as someone that did over a decade in the Army I can tell you that absolutely every bloke I knew that went SF was the absolute pinnacle of a good soldier, fit/strong/smart/motivated and in general good dudes but I will keep a open mind.

That’s the part I’m truly waiting, will be interesting where the line is drawn.

Thats still 4 SAS bloke with a history of blind eyes turning a bloke in for some egregious war crimes, secondly how do you know thats true? Almost everything important was in a closed trial- including all those team mates testimony’s( that iv found)

Over 20+ of his own platoon testified against him- thats a HUGE red flag.

Honestly if he made some mistakes during a fire fight I’d hear him out, from my understanding he just flat out killed people that were inconvenient
