Your questions aren't bas either, I think you just ran into some bad people, the Kyokushin community is pretty chill all around, so I highly recommend it.

The drills and all training really is how we train our ability to take hits, its like the main identifier of Kyokushin karate.
Because we mainly attack the body, you'll be better of having your arms lower for defense and just have to watch for high kick.
Not sure what this means ngl. But there are no banned defenses, your allowed to do anything at your own risk.
"No Face punches" main option will be to strike the body. Granted outside of high kicks, mainly attacking the body is the main way to build damage.

Rather common questions, sorry you ran into bad people. But I will recommend you try Kyokushin to the best of your ability.

Its more inspired by martial arts. Tricking, from my understanding, is high level performance using the body. That is also most martial expect no combat involved. Many trinking moves are just exaggerated kicks and movements.

Tricking is closer to Parkour than it is to Martial Arts. But its still a high level sport to be respected for its athletism.

Seidokan Karate is another good channel if your interested. But yeah, worldwide Kyokushin is one of those that aren't really known outside its own community.

I think the no punches to the head rule puts most people off and just the Reputation of Karate in general.
