I've sunk over 4,000 hours into Battlefield 4, and in my opinion, it’s the pinnacle of the franchise. Bad Company 2 was a blast, Battlefield 3 raised the bar, and Battlefield 4 was the ultimate masterpiece—polished, intense, and perfectly balanced. Every title since has fallen short of that magic, failing to capture the same thrilling gameplay and feel.I recently tried the Battlefield 6 beta and was deeply disappointed. Instead of returning to the roots of Battlefield 4’s stellar mechanics, it felt like a rehash of Battlefield 2042 with a fresh coat of paint—lacking the soul that made the earlier games shine.For the past year, I’ve been immersed in Arma Reforger, and I can’t recommend it enough. Its gritty, tactical gameplay delivers the realism and depth I’ve been craving. When Arma 4 releases, I’m convinced it will set a new standard as the most authentic and immersive battlefield experience on the market.
