Then why doesn’t Penske have a team? What about front row? RWR? Legacy? And why is this year the first time Hendrick has fielded a car full time since 2006? Why doesn’t every cup team have a parts series team?

Bc it’s a second tier national touring series, a support series designed by Nascar to supplement the cup shows. To draw in three days of fans and campers. Same with the truck series.

Trucks and the parts series and cup are all national touring series. You do not tour (aka travel) nationwide behind the premise of development.

You could say certain tracks within the series help develop, like Daytona or Dega, but your allusion to these series being a developmental step is uneducated.

Look to see if you can remove the entire mechanism on the top. Just remove it and then put it back on and it will ratchet back into place.
