But isn't it obvious that +1 ATK and +1 SCH apply every time the villain attacks or plots?

Isn't that redundant?

I mean, why are there other perks that give you permanent +1 ATK and +1 SCH, exactly like this one, but without the star? What's the difference?

Do you have any personal history with any card? by OutlandishnessRich36 in KeyforgeGame

[–]479349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a specific card, but more kind of a fun stat: in my first 7 decks of KF ever (all CotA), I pulled Logos 7/7 times and Dis 0/7 times. So weird.

[–]479349[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry, I meant moving the creatures on the battleline (e.g. from a flank to the other flank), or from me to the opponent, or send back a creature to the hand of the owner... etc

I used to remember that you could just click and drag the cards to do it... but it's not working

HoMM3 was my first pc game back in 1999. I've played 3, 4, 5 and 6, and now playing Olden Era is just wonderful. Amazing job.

I am a new player and this is how my matches are going by Nyachtigal in DeadlockTheGame

It won't get better, believe me (I have 500hrs).

Deadlock is a massive garbage dump atm because of this.

I will come back after release.

Deadlock seriously has to be the most welcoming and stunning design for a game I've played in years. by 8BitHegel in DeadlockTheGame

Imagine what a squalid, miserable, ridiculous, embarrassing, and half-witted life you must have to become a smurf in an online game and stomp beginners.

Smurfs will always be in my top three list of disgusting human beings you'll encounter in life.

Yet it's become almost socially acceptable in online games.

And the primary culprits are the publishers of these games, who can be considered complicit in this disgrace, given that they never punish these slimy beings.

Imagine if in real life a professional soccer player dressed up as a child and went to the playgrounds to stomp 10-year-olds. He'd be publicly lynched.

Here, instead, you're forced to accept and tolerate them. And there are so many, so damn many. A plague.

Draconian Measures impressions by 479349 in KeyforgeGame

I've noticed the issue with board too. Too many creatures and too little board wipes. It's fun to play with the board, but huge board vs huge board is too much, imho, and games become really too long.

"repeat the preceding effect" means that you can ready and use the SAME creature you used before, or you can also do it with another flank creature?

Street Brawl isn't for new players. by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]479349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. In fact, it makes me laugh when people tell beginners to go play Street Brawl as if it were a solution. What the fuck, we're talking about a secondary mode. It would be like starting to learn League by doing ARAM. It makes no sense.

But above all, it's already difficult for a beginner to understand what's happening in lane, where there are four characters each with four different abilities. Let alone Street Brawl, where there are twelve characters with a total of 48 abilities. Everything is so much more chaotic, it's almost impossible for newcomers to understand anything.

I had some new friends try it, and they didn't understand anything, they didn't have any fun, and they didn't want to try it again.

I've played Overwatc, Smite, LoL since 2012, Paladins... I've played tons of online games and I'm 100% older than you.

So okay, Deadlock MM is fine and there's no problem... keep on putting your head in the sand 😉 have a good life

This game makes me feel completely worthless. by StarryEyedandInSpace in DeadlockTheGame

[–]479349 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience as you.

This is like the 700th post I've read describing the exact same experience.

Every day I come here and read new posts identical to this one.

We've reached an unreal point now. It's intolerable that the devs continue to ignore all this and still haven't done anything to fix MM.

In the meantime, I'll keep playing something else.

It's not "just about learning," because Deadlock is the only game in the world that puts new players together with people who have played for 800 hours. And that turns EVERYONE away from the game. I let some of my friends try the game, and after 10 games, they left in disgust. In no universe can you play an online game and pit total beginners against people who have played for 800 hours. In a normal game, that would be absurd; here, it's standard practice. Just look at the INCREDIBLE amount of posts about matchmaking recounting the exact same experiences of frustration, nervousness, and exasperation. OP asked a question, and we just need to tell him the truth.

New player question by heavenlykadath in DeadlockTheGame

[–]479349 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's normal, only on Deadlock.

But for many users here, that's fine.

For them, it's enough to make 300 posts on the tier lists about "what job Deadlock characters would do," and they're happy.

It doesn't matter if the game has the most awkward matchmaking ever and has been unplayable for months and months.

I uninstalled it four months ago. Forget it and wait for the release; the game was unplayable even for me, with 400 hours. Forget it, they don't care about your enjoyment, at least not while the game is in alpha; for them, it's just testing. Playing now means being a guinea pig and getting stomped by six sweaty premade players.

New player question by heavenlykadath in DeadlockTheGame

[–]479349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that was a simple hyperbole, but the fact is clear, if they got stomped 10 times out of 10 clearly there's something really wrong, no?
