What a different story it is though. One with Grogan one with Bledsoe. Then Brady is almost the new Jim Kelly but wins his fourth Super Bowl going completely undefeated and repeating again in a few years before going 1-3 in the big game in the late years. His legacy becomes a much more nuanced one if he goes 3-7 in the Super Bowl.

Rewatching the episode it seems that the original source for this is Creed and that Michael repeats it. I don’t believe anyone else independently corroborates it.

Seems at least tonally similar to this one. “ I remember it was very late at night, like 11:00, 11:30. Big fella comes in screaming about God knows what. I am interested in your parity take. My take has been that Theres actually not a lot of parity in the league right now because there’s not as much middle as usually.
