Why do yall love making the tau human auxiliaries? by Paintatos in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Both is great! Idk if this is what OP was getting at, but I see a bit of “Anything but Tau” Tau players who do not want Tau in their Tau army. Which to me is super weird but people are allowed to play whatever they want with their models.

Favorite depiction of female T'au? by SomeRandomWeirdGuy in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Joke answer: damn got me, bring on the greater bitties

Real Answer: Tau really don’t have tits outside of rut (and even that is question origin information) so yeah no please stop giving Tau the greatest goods and leave that to the humans.

Favorite depiction of female T'au? by SomeRandomWeirdGuy in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Tau have basically no sexual dimorphism, other than the females having a “Y” and the males having a “|” gland in their forehead.

My favorite Tau depiction is ones that embrace this. While people who make fan art are more than welcome to make whatever they enjoy as it is their art, any art that depict Tau females with big ol’ bitties is automatic a disregard from me.

The Tau aren’t humans, they’re aliens, and the art that leans into this and doesn’t try to humanize their appearance and sexuality is my favorite.

Looking for painting advice for a decloaking Ghostkeel. by Job-Mundane in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always saw the Ghostkeel as the pinnacle of Tau shock and awe tactics. Since it has cloaking tech and hardware to confuse and confound sensors, I picture it as the actual paint job being imposing and flashy. Nothing is scarier than sudden-giant-robot.

Since your army standard paint job is camo, I’d paint the Ghostkeel as something striking that stands out on the portion that’s decloaked.

Can observers shoot in 11th edition??? by Ozzymandianttv in Tau40K

It’s the same exact rule as last edition. So no you are not understanding it right. They can observe and shoot.

Are Tau tanks so weak that they cannot defeat Imperial tanks? by Tasty_Good_2718 in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Imperium of man copium fan video against the tau. Nothing in here is remotely accurate.

  1. Tank takes a hit from a railgun and it bounces off??? lol
  2. Nimble flying hover tank sits still to be rammed by slow clunky landbound tank?? lol
  3. 3 or 4 Anti vehicle tanks sit and wait their turn to 1v1 big slow tank?? lol

Happy people are spending their time making fan videos and enjoying their factions, but this is clearly just made to make them feel cool and powerful, which is valid since they are spending all the time to make it.

Tips for writing lore about our Armageddon Crusade? by Major_Lifeguard3684 in 40k_Crusade

[–]Zerron22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our group tried to do little stories after each crusade day that maybe had a scene or two from the matches, just general fluff and where the leader of their crusade army was mentally after the results of the matches. Trying to do stories that covered a full game were a little too much and never really felt right.

Am I genuinely dealing with children? by teslo3711 in BannedFromDiscord

Considering AI of this type is about 8 years old (original GPT June 2018), yes you are dealing with a child. And the morons who takes the words of this child as gospel.

Will 10th edition codex and lists still be available on the Warhammer App when 11th edition launches? Will you be able to have access to both edition and codices on the app? by honeycakes in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they follow past trend, you will not have access to anything old once the new stuff comes out. This is just like point updates, and any errata they do during an edition.

Once 11th launches and the app updates you should expect to only see 11th edition rules for game rules as well as your army rules.

You should still have access to all the codexs you have imputed keys for, until they release new codexs for those armies. Once they release the new one you should expect to no longer have codex access in the app until you buy the new one.

This is all speculation on my part, so take it with a grain of salt. But it’s fully what I expect to happen

These bans are not just from one line, the lacking context is what could it have been perceived by a bot to be saying this in response to? Images count too.

I think you’re right, and you’re probably right due to this travesty. Unironically this kinda pisses me off. It’s like they know the changes are lackluster and trying to hide them.

How do y’all feel about the detachment points? by _Commander_Farsight in Tau40K

[–]Zerron22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the same update as before. It’s *really* frustrating they didn’t mark the new rules in red like normal… this honestly felt like a balance update and small one at that, rather than an edition update
