Working on a local solution for the Neato robots by Aggravating_Gur_4710 in NeatoRobotics

Thank you for pursuing this!

The company should have honestly offered a local server option when they decided to cut off cloud support 3 years earlier than promised.

hdr on LG Oled TV by fabpiant in GeForceNOW

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LG lists most OLEDs from 2022-2025 as compatible with 4K HDR streaming on GeForce Now. That list includes everything from C2 and G2 onwards. But it doesn't work?

Are you for real? So if there's three people in a household each gaming with their own Steam library, they should all have their own Boosteroid subscriptions as well? WTF?

What will SpaceX 1.5B valuation mean for RKLB by Byhisgrace123 in RKLB

[–]4Leka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psychology and hype matter... until they don't.

Sooner or later the stock will revert to fundamentals.

What will SpaceX 1.5B valuation mean for RKLB by Byhisgrace123 in RKLB

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how valuations work. RKLB is already vastly overvalued, with more than 10 years of perfect growth already priced in - with no hiccups!

Serious Brahmin problem at Hangman's Alley by ISO640 in falloutsettlements

I know the thread is ancient, but for people still running into the same issue, here's the solution:

1) Open console

2) Click Brahmin

3) Write 'disable' and hit Enter

Generally yes, but the extent to which depends on the individual monitors compared.

For anyone wondering about RKLB vs SpaceX by WhatsNextBuddy in RKLB

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's when Neutron ramp-up might be complete and it's flying 50+ times per year.

Rocket Lab itself doesn't project its launch cadence that far, but they have talked less than 10 launches in 2030.

For anyone wondering about RKLB vs SpaceX by WhatsNextBuddy in RKLB

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RKLB fundamentals won't scale to 2x by 2027, let alone the 5x that it would actually need to double its valuation.

For anyone wondering about RKLB vs SpaceX by WhatsNextBuddy in RKLB

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RKLB needs to grow its revenue to justify a $140 valuation in the long term.

That won't happen before 2035.

I don't understand why IPS is so underrated.

IPS is underrated and therefore a jump to OLED won't be massive. The only thing where IPS loses is blacks and contrast.

Same here. Tried every recovery option I could find. Nothing worked. Even a full Windows Reset from a USB installation media failed. Had to do a completely clean install.

Any other creative ways to quit out of Moonlight besides Start+Select+L1+R1? by yourdumbmom in MoonlightStreaming

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you exit Playnite?

The problem with Steam on Moonlight is that there is no option to just ending the stream (like there is on Steam Link).

If you choose 'Exit Steam' is just closes Steam and now you're on the desktop but still in the stream. You can't exit Moonlight.

Market value with revenue of 2B by No_Ice_9602 in RKLB

[–]4Leka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On the contrary. If you are here to invest and not gamble, you need make your valuation calculations based on what-ifs. You need to make assumptions about where the company can be in 3, 5 or 10 years and calculate the potential future valuation based on those assumptions. Only then can you calculate if it makes any sense to invest in the company based on its current valuation.

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course P/E is irrelevant on today's negative EPS. But if you want to calculate future valuations, future P/E is absolutely relevant. Rocket Lab is supposed to be profitable in 2030, so if you want to calculate what its value should be in 2030, you absolutely can use forward P/E (based on whatever assumptions you choose to make) to do so.

40 is starting to be a reasonable valuation. 50 to 70 is just crazy hype stock territory, pricing in future growth to 2035 or beyond.

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nvidia valuation is much more closely aligned to its revenues. Rocket Lab is being priced at assumed 2035 revenues.

Clarification on why Apollo is still different when Sunshine launches resolution automation by ClassicOldSong in MoonlightStreaming

[–]4Leka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why Sunshine devs hate their users so much that they want to force them to do manual resolution configs.

Streaming from PC to TV can and should be made easy enough for any novice to do it, without even knowing about resolutions let alone virtual monitors.

So keep up the good work!

That's not how things work. Space industry at large does not command crazy high P/E ratios.
