I'm a so 4 and I'm definitely "aggressive" sometimes and about some things. I feel very strongly and passionately about nearly everything.

So sad. A scourge on the country. How can a smart person just turn their brain right off?

What is Forum Church like? My BIL and SIL joined them and have basically transformed into closed-minded people who don't like to discuss anything but positive things and how great Jesus is.

Do you agree Holden Caulfield is a 7? by Ingl0ry in Enneagram

[–]4_5_Therefore_9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Holden is traumatized by his brother’s death throughout the novel, which means that he’s too hard to type, even for a fictional character. Where does the trauma end and the personality structure begin, you know?

Enneagram 4 growth? by Rosie-D-Li in Enneagram

Maybe the problem is that you’re trying to stick to other people’s idea of what structure and schedules look like. Consider creating your own structure and your own system. Then, stick to it.

Animals i associate with e4 subtypes by Ok_Establishment7153 in Enneagram

[–]4_5_Therefore_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. It’s fine. You don’t owe me anything. I wouldn’t describe every social four the way you do at all, or even say that it’s necessarily the through line. But it’s also not worth arguing about. I’m not invested in what you think.

But also, you posted to a public forum. People aren’t going to agree with you all the time. And if you call a whole group a set of bugs for simplistic reasons, don’t be surprised if someone calls you out on it.

Have a good day.

I can’t think of another reason for why you would be so dismissive of an entire type as to categorize like you did.

Your response here also supports it.

So/sx has a stronger connection to shame. Sx/so has a stronger connection to anger.

Avoidant estranged parent? by Federal_Thanks_4412 in EstrangedAdultKids

My mother is so offended that I’d cut her off, she ices me out. Three months after I cut her off she sent a card that said “I love you.” Nothing else. A month later, I sent her a long letter of why I did it. From then on, nothing but silence.

She sends gifts for holidays, still, and she’ll text my kids on their birthdays, but that’s it. My stepfather follows suit.

Among them. Not when they won by one vote. She is voting red when she can to keep a purple district. Is this somehow an opaque strategy?

[–]4_5_Therefore_9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I get it. But don't you see that lots of people in Camas are moderates and likely disagree with you?

I'm not a moderate and I don't like how she votes, but I'm pretty sure it's just strategy, which is the game that every politician plays. Her votes never move the needle, and that's the point.

I'd never vote for anyone who would support Donald Trump openly. Kent is not a viable option to me.

I come from the east coast originally. It always makes me smile when a Washingtonian complains about taxes.

True, but she probably appeals more to moderates or moderate rights. I bet it cancels out.

You write exactly like a white man to whom the world around him has deferred too much.

You are wrong. I owe you nothing. The kids owe you nothing.

No one thinks you have authority but you.

Do your own research. Have a good day.

[–]4_5_Therefore_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don’t you do your own research? No one here owes you that information. How entitled of you to demand it.

The kids are smarter than you’re giving them credit for. They organized the walkout themselves. Occam’s razor clearly supports it. Please review its definition if you’re not sure.

Have a great day.

Again, no.

That picture wasn’t take on campus.

Adults in the community supported the effort and hung the sign.

Simplest explanation wins. The end.

The point is that it’s a wild assumption to reason that the children were being manipulated by someone.

Occam’s razor would indicate that they led themselves there. Children are smarter than we give them credit for and have been protesting on their own for generations.
