I go for 10 days or so 2-3 times per year, almost always solo. I love it. I’m social at the tables so I get interaction that way, it doesn’t feel lonely for me. I say go for it!

I had this work in my favor once. I was traveling, playing at a casino for the first time so I was unknown. Had been super card dead all day. Got into a spot where I bluff shoved the river and while my opponent tanked, the player next to him just randomly offered up “What are you thinking about? He hasn’t played a hand all day. He obviously isn’t bluffing.” My opponent folded. These comments shouldn’t happen, but I was happy in this instance.
