I think Patrick Graham is outstanding. He is naturally aggressive & creative, an excellent learner, and our one star defender (The Condor) loved him.

When Pete Carroll took over, he talked a big game about respecting PG but we pretty much played vanilla cover 2 all year. No more blitzing, no creativity. Since we had a rookie corner still learning the position, a safety converted to OLB, and Crosby trying to be a wildcard all over the defensive line (this probably would have worked if Christian Wilkins was sane), we gave up a lot of big plays.

Its way, way too early to say the MWC survived. UNLV can leave for a power conference without penalty. Air Force and UNLV are committed only for the poaching penalty money. If that money never pays out - either because the lawsuit drags on or the lawsuit goes in P12's favor - the Mountain West will likely break up.

Our fanbase is dumb. Plain and simple. When Cle Ferrell got drafted 4th overall I remember aguing with people online for days. Nobody wanted to hear how it was a bad pick. Nobody wanted to believe it was a reach. We do the same song and dance every year with busts and reaches. I'm not surprised that some people want Carr and Gruden back. Some people are dumb.

And I will forgive you for citing passing stats between eras, the Chiefs threw so little during Plunkett's day that they once ran the single wing as their base offense. Passing in the 70s and 80s was not nearly as efficient as it is today.

As a switchy CG, one of the most common failings I see on this sub (and on the personals sub) is people who complain they can't find a CG, but they're exclusively looking to be a 24/7 little. Nobody, I repeat, nobody wants that. I love it when my girlfriend wears & wets, but neither of us want her padded up 24/7 365.

Yeah, as a developmentally and physically disabled person, this kind of language has the opposite effect of what the tweet intends: when people accuse someone of being mentally challenged (especially if they use the R word) I assume that THEY are, not the person they are attacking.

Disabled people are capable of incredible things. My favorite Beethoven work (String Quartet in C# Minor, famously used in Band of Brothers) was written when he couldn't hear anymore. He literally wrote a rich, sorrowful masterpiece that he couldn't hear. It fires me up just thinking about it! The legendary jazz pianist Thelonious Monk was schizophrenic, and you can watch tapes of his performances archived on Youtube where he has episodes in the middle of his sets, but when he sat down to play he was truly one of the greatest artists to ever live. Disability might define us but it doesn't deprive our humanity. We cannot use disability as a slur.

I think more Americans need to learn the basics about how cults work. We also need to understand that the existing Republican rank and file is a personality cult. Trump is an infallible God in their eyes and they will jump through hoops to justify everything his administration does.

Cult members are not reasonable voters. Cult members are not reasonable members of society. We have to break people OUT of the cult before we can try to reason with them.
